All good things must come to an end, and it's time for LQVE: Lion Quest Versus Expanded to be retired from Steam. This means it will no longer be available for sale, although if you already have the game then it will remain playable from your Steam library.
It's being removed in an effort to consolidate the series down to the original Lion Quest and its full-blown sequel Lion Quest Infinity. Somewhere between those games, the existence of Lion Quest Versus Expanded doesn't feel necessary, especially considering that both other games included a versus mode, and Lion Quest Infinity Versus is essentially a complete replacement for this game.
The game still has a special place in Dracula's Cave history, and it was for me a point where I started to learn so much about making video games over what I'd done with the original Lion Quest. But now it's time to leave this one behind, and whilst the other two games are still receiving updates and ongoing support, here is where we part ways with LQVE. If you've played the game before, thanks for taking the time to check it out.
