It's been awhile since we've posted patch notes here and there has been a lot going on as we get closer to release! Here is the patch info:

Added special interaction for persistent AoE effects when you add attract as a child. This duplicates the old vortex component.

World difficulty is now saved correctly. Existing worlds will default to normal difficulty.
World difficulty now ties into spawn times
World difficulty now will slightly nurf mob health or buff it depending on the level
After a tense negotiation, Chickthulu has agreed to nurf the night in the world of Spoxel and it now lasts less time

Changed enemy spawning to focus on the players location rather than the spawn location
Reworked how spawn locations are picked to better check for bounds
Adding spawn restrictions for mobs based on type (IE flying mobs can spawn in the sky)
Reworked the combat flag code to better cleanup mobs getting removed
Mobs that are in combat with you that you haven't damaged won't flag combat music anymore

Use runes to construct custom powerful spells to use in your adventure or infuse weapons and armor with rare resources to create legendary items of power. Explore an infinite world and delve into other dimensions while you build a base to establish a foothold of power and defend it from your enemies!

Combine different materials and items to create different weapons and armor with unique traits and abilities.

Research and find new spell runes which you can use to create custom spells. Use mutator runes to further customize those spells and do everything from add a chicken to your spells to cause them to bounce off walls.

Explore the vast world of spoxel and delve into a wide variety of biomes in your quest for power, loot, or maybe just the best chicken sandwich.
