Ancient Warfare 3 is a complete redevelopment of the second part to improve the experience from the core of the game. Dive into a huge sandbox full of action and customization! Choose from different gamemodes like Deathmatch, Reach point, conquest, king of the hill, zombie mode, arsenal and more. Download level bundles to play small campaigns or create you own scenarios in the custom battle editor. Choose your rules, change the environment, place units, objects or traps, choose your equipment or just relax and spectate a battle.
Explore the content from all kind of eras like stone age, high cultures, medieval ages, WWI, WWII and compare them to modern and future weapons or just recreate some historic battles.
Your player can use a very advanced and mixed equipment which will allow a dynamic combat. Use a sword to cut your enemies into pieces, a baton to punch them down, guns or bows to shoot at them, or an rpg to blow them up. Protect yourself with a shield and wear armor to get some protection for different kind of weapons. To support you and your mates, you can carry different grenades, medipacks or ammo supplies.
Much content is already in game and there are still much more gamemodes, units, weapons and equipment planned. Until then, you can test the 300+ units in game with 150+ equipment objects and place 43 different objects.
This is an early version of the game and many things will change until the completion of the game. The system specs are provisionally and may change at any time.

Update 1.10
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
\n\n
Merged material editing
\nThere is a new button in the toolbar of the custom unit creator to improve material editing. Materials from all items of the unit are displayed as a single list and matching materials can be edited as a single entry, preventing you from having to copy paste colors between items!\n
\n\nEdit modular building materials during placement
\nWhen placing a modular object, you can now edit the color before placing it. The game remembers the setting while you keep placing supported objects. Otherwise, you can load the last used settings with a click of a button when you start placing supported objects again.\n
\n\nObject groups
\nThe concept of object groups has been added to the custom battle editor:\n- \n
- Selecting a single object from a group will select the whole group, unless you hold Left Alt while selecting\n
- Object groups can be created or dissolved by selecting objects and using the \"Make Group\" button in the left toolbar\n
- There is a new editor setting to enable prefabs to be placed as groups automatically. (Editor Settings in the bottom right corner)\n
\n\nSelection filtering
\nSelection filtering can be used to remove specific types of objects from your current selection or focus it on a specific type of object. When a single object is selected, there are suggestions to add matching objects to your selection.\n
\n\nEmbedded prefab and unit editor for custom items
\nWhile creating custom items, you can now test them directly in the integrated prefab or unit creator depending on the item type.\n\n\nCustom ref size objects
\nYou can now load any vanilla or custom object from the game\'s database as a reference size in the custom item editors!\n
\n\nBurned skin paint for custom units
\nA new body paint item has been added to add burn marks to units that are similar to those of burned zombies.\n
\n\nScripted Rendering
\nThere are various new nodes to render primitive 3d objects from scripts. This can be useful for debugging or quickly visualizing something without having to create full custom objects, especially since materials/colors can be updated every frame.\nDepending on demand, this feature will be extended to support screen space rendering or custom 3d objects\n
\n\nScripting features
\n- \n
- Added Unit/GetMount node to retrieve the siege weapon or animal of a unit as object reference\n
- Added SpawnPointLight / SpawnSpotLight nodes to create scripting lights at runtime\n
- Added GetEquipName to get the database name of an equipment item by id\n
- Added Health/GetMaxHealth to get the max health of a unit or object\n
- Added Array/Clone and Array/Reverse nodes\n
- Added GetGuardPose node\n
- Added QuaternionToEuler and EulerToQuaternion nodes\n
- Added CustomSupport input nodes (missing from previous update)\n
- Added various nodes for scripted rendering\n
Other features and improvements
\n- \n
- Added grenade type \'Scripting\' to custom grenades to create grenades that only trigger the scripting event and nothing else\n
- Scripting tags can now be added to units placed in the spawn area for vehicles and game mode spawn lists\n
- Added \"Custom object\" filter to the editor placement lists\n
- Added a settings panel to enable / disable medical crates\n
- Particle property curves in the custom particle editor can now be negative\n
- Particle systems can now be copy / pasted into sub particle systems in the custom particle editor\n
- Added current color indicator to color picker in the terrain editor\n

- Fixed various issues related to the crosshair settings\n
- Fixed missing weapon sway while not aiming\n
