This build fixes and adds a lot to the game. There is too much to go over just yet and we plan to add more soon so just hang tight!

If you are participating in the closed testing please do the following:
Go to
%localappdata%/don_t_sink and delete everything in that folder. The previous public build had a different buffer format for some files and this will result in a crash and other issues when loading old save files.

New content & features
- Finished implementing/building Cramton
- Purchase sound effect added to all purchase events
- Added footstep sounds when player walks on sand
- Added victory tune when player wins ship battles
- Added discovery tune when you find new towns
- Added difficulty modifier for ship battle occurence
- Pressing backspace/B works in place of clicking back on any menu
Minor changes
- Characters walk slower and the player walks 100% faster, holding shift or right trigger allows you to walk
- When selected buttons are now 25% larger and wiggle
- Camera now lerps 50%~ faster
- Adjusted the camera start position in the town to avoid needless zooming
- Camera size/position now snap into place when close enough to its destination. Fixes occasional pixelation across screen
- Governing sliders that are disabled default to 0%
- If all governing sliders are set to 0% then they will all default to 25%
- Balanced equations used for boarding, the player has a strong advantage now and the results are far less random
- Disabled cheats for Steam builds
- Characters passing by behind buildings while the player is inside have been changed to better reflect the current population
- When battle ends cannonballs are removed from the world
Bug fixes and performance improvements
- Fixed new game loading previously played save game
- Resizing the window while paused will no longer break the background surface
- All music/sounds are stopped when you are defeated or return to the main menu from anywhere in the game
- Travel distance resets properly between saved games
- Proper ammo type is fired now, previously it would only fire cannonballs
- Fixed ships being purchasable when you own the ship already
- Fixed AI occasionally sitting still forever
- Fixed borders flickering by adding black border
- Fixed build menu crashing game when everything has been built
- Fixed cutscenes not saving properly
- Fixed potential crash when defeat during boarding
- Fixed boarding results not progressing while displaying crew values
- Fixed ship health going past 100%
- Fixed no sound when pressing enter after entering name
- Fixed repair being prevented when ship health was below 100% but sail health was at 100%
- Fixed town music not playing when quitting to main menu and returning to a town
- Fixed intro having various issues if skipped
- Starting a new game over a previously used save slot will delete that save directory
