Coming up on full release!

We are taking the final steps to reach full release and one of the biggest issues was the ugly main menu left over from the original release of the game. We've recreated pretty much everything at this point. We still have a number of improvements planned for the next update but this one is meant to be stable, and full of beautiful new artwork. Some of the most notable changes include the new loading screen and main menu. We've got a new leaderboard, quest menu, quick menu, build menu, govern menu... Minor changes

Rigby's Treasure, "Shut up Heater" changed to "Shut up Heather"
When selecting a name from the credits, the link now opens in your browser if the Steam overlay is disabled
General store now shows current owned stock of an item
While traveling crew stats start flashing when they get low
Implemented mouse input for random events and boarding when traveling
Made changes to the DRM

Bug fixes and performance improvements

Slightly improved screen flashing when unpausing with escape/start button
Tavern recruitment crash has been fixed
Captain Fluffy Butt occasionally hidden behind ship/sails off screen
Steam achievements involving stats fixed
Attacking an island with too few crew would result in every island visited afterwards being an attack
Resolved crash when recruiting citizens (shop index would go outside of ds_list range)
Item deduction from ship purchase optimized and crashing resolved
Ship item reduction crash on load up of old saves has been fixed

A Sandbox-Adventure-Pirate-RPG that takes inspiration from Pirates of the Carribean (2003 video game), FTL: Faster Than Light, and Sid Meier's Pirates but makes certain to stand out on its own.

Explore a massive world with unique islands and landscapes. Discuss rumors and discover the origins of each island by talking to the people that live there
Expect the unexpected when at sea. Events you may be unprepared for may occur such as a foodborne illness among your crew. You'll need to have access to the right supplies and have the experience to keep your ship afloat
A casual but real challenge - While simple to pickup and understand, there are numerous events that only an experienced swashbuckler will be prepared for. This makes the game more satisfying for long term pirates
Thoughtfully executed cutscenes that help to bring the world to life as well as reward pirates that explore

Sailing between islands is necessary to expand your control over the world and to increase your reputation
Tending to the morale, hunger, and thirst of your crew will require you to maintain a supply of food/water and consider whether or not rationing food is required during long journeys
Governing islands you've conquered is a difficult responsibility as you will need to solve economic issues before they get out of hand
Purchase larger ships as you fight your way through the sea. Famously powerful vessels such as the Galleon and Man of War are but a few of the available ships
