As announced last week, we are very proud to begin our next in-game event. This time, everyone will need to contribute in a war effort in order to unlock the very hyped PANDORA!

Fight For Pandora: how to participate

The event is all about giving you the chance to unlock Pandora as fast as you can! In order to do so, every player above level 5 will now have Highlander Battle available instead of the normal Unranked mode selection accessible from the Battle screen. Enter this matchmaking queue to participate in the Fight for Pandora. As you might have noticed, there is a counter in the main screen with a goal to reach: 100,000 games. Each Highlander game played will increase the counter by 1. Once the counter reaches 100,000 games, Pandora will unleash its madness onto the world of Faeria.

What is Highlander?

The Highlander Battle is very simple: Your deck must consist of 30 different cards. One of each. This might sound crazy (and to be honest, we wanted it to be a little crazy), but during our testing it's been very fun.

Rewards

When coming up with this concept, we wanted to make sure that the goal was achievable and that everyone would be well rewarded for the time put into this war effort. With that in mind, here is the system we have designed: When the counter reaches:

• 25,000 Highlander Games: everyone receives a Booster Pack
• 50,000 Highlander Games: everyone receives 250 Gold
• 75,000 Highlander Games: everyone receives 3 Pandora keys
• 100,000 Highlander Games: Pandora opens

The Egg

But that's not everything! The (in)famous Egg is back! As also mentioned last week, we have created the first Epic Quest that will allow the most worthy of you to collect the Egg and discover what it holds!

What now?

Jump into Faeria and Fight for Pandora! Full Disclosure: We also feel that it's worth mentioning that we have an internal bet running that our awesome community will achieve that in just a bit more than a week

Balance patch notes

It's also important to note we've made a change to Zealous Crusader today, as well as fixed a bug involving Windstorm Archer:

• Zealous Crusader 5 Faeria 2 Deserts 2/2 (was 5/5) Gain +2/+2 each time you attacked a god while in your deck or hand. (Was +1/+1)
• Windstorm Archer Now correctly a 1/3

This should put Zealous Crusader in more of a spot where he may not be such a good idea to play in the early stages of the game, but can still be very powerful later on as you manage to sneak in jabs and pokes into the opponent's orb over time. As always, we will continue to monitor the state of the game and continue with balance adjustments as necessary.
