The next balance patch will be coming your way next week, and a new card along with it! It's also time for announcing the next Monthly Cup special guest.

The 257th Card

With the last set of Monthly Cup qualifiers finishing this weekend, we will be patching the game early next week. As we've mentioned earlier, now that we have tournaments with cash prizes on a regular basis, we try to be as careful as possible with the dates of any patches that affect overall game balance in any way. That said, there will be times when the need to make adjustments for the health of the game trumps the need to maintain status quo for our competitive player's tournament preparations. In this case, next week's patch will contain several balance adjustments, some new card art, and the introduction of Faeria's 257th card! This card, like all others currently in the game, will be part of the current "core set." This means anyone who has already purchased the Full Collection at this time will be receiving this card automatically, for free. During Early Access, we plan on adding a few more to the core set before we consider it entirely complete.

Next Monthly Cup Guest

If it's Faeria Friday, that means it’s time to announce our second specially invited guest who will be competing in our First Monthly Cup:
AWLenard is Alienware’s global Community Manager, the man behind AlienwareTV, and an avid gamer. The Alienware Twitch channel features live streaming 6+ hours a day, 4 days a week, and from today until the day of our finals, Lenard will be featuring a “Road to the Cup” segment following his training to get ready for competition in just a few weeks. Go check their streams out, we’re sure he’ll be on the look-out for viewers to practice against or maybe even coach him.
