With the new year comes an exciting range of possibilities, but we must also take time to thank those who have helped us make it here. Along with the new year comes a new season - let's talk about it all.

Support superhero

Next year we will be bidding farewell and good luck to Gareth, also known as SeeMeScrollin, who was brought on as Community and Support Manager earlier this year. Not only has he created and reinforced the support infrastructure necessary during our Early Access period, but he’s been a continual, valuable asset in gathering community sentiment and presenting results of survey analysis. He’ll be moving on to other things in 2017 - and we’ll sorely miss him. 2017 will also see the movement of Brian, or blowenthal to others, back to a volunteer position. We’re very happy to have had Brian along with us for a brief ride. He’ll be continuing his schooling and pursuing other paths in the future. Two recent additions to Abrakam, Florent and Nicolas (another Nicolas!), will be attempting to fill the hole left behind by these two departures, as well as take on new roles in marketing and quality assurance, respectively, as we look ahead to the new year. In case you missed it from last week, here we posted the year behind us in brief summary.

Season’s end

The year is ending, and so is the current Faeria season. As usual, our current Ranked and Pandora seasons will be resetting on the first Monday of the month, which happens to be soon after the new year on this coming Monday, January 2nd.

First, let's breakdown the timeline for this weekend before we go into further detail.

• Saturday, December 31st, 23:59 CET - Voting closes.
• Sunday, January 1st, 18:00 CET - Monthly Cup qualifier #2
• Monday, January 2nd, 12:00pm (Noon) CET - Ladder positions locked.

Vote for your favorite

With the slightly altered holiday schedule, the closing time for voting is being shifted to two days before the season ends to allow for the qualifiers on Sunday. Therefore, voting for the current Monthly Cup closes at 23:59 CET on Saturday, December 31st.

Remember, if you don't see your favorite player on the list, you need only type their name in the search box to find them.Ladder positions (for the Monthly Cup) will be locked in on Monday, January 2nd at 12:00pm (Noon) CET, and the ladder resets shortly thereafter.
