Monthly Cup XVII: The last Monthly Cup

• Monthly Cup XVII takes place: Saturday, December 9th at 16:00 CET.

Watching more than one does not increase your chances. The Monthly Cup is a single elimination monthly competition where 32 of the best Faeria players from all over the world compete for $3300 in prizes. Each match consists of a Best of 5 series of games in Pantheon format. Watch, cheer, and win. You can earn prizes just by watching the stream.

Next year: Faeria World Circuit begins

Our plan is to move away from monthly, isolated tournaments and open a wider reaching seasonal qualification system. While we believe the current Monthly Cup system works well, we've had a lot of feedback from our competitive players over time and are taking the opportunity in the new year to restructure the way our official tournament system is built. We'll be sharing more specifics soon, but there are some basic points we'd like to communicate now to prepare you more properly for what is it come.

• We will be shifting to seasonal championships, rather than monthly.
• Qualification to championship tournaments will become point based.
• Qualification points will be awarded from:
  • Official tournaments
  • Sanctioned community tournaments
  • Ladder resets

Regarding ladder reset points specifically, expect only the top 20 to receive some amount of points toward the World Circuit each month. For practical purposes, they will not be awarded to all god ranks - only the very highest placements. And no, alternate accounts will not count. Most importantly: The current season's points will count as the first points toward the new World Circuit! To be extra clear here, this means the ladder reset on January 1st, 2018 will count toward the first season.

How to win prizes

The most important thing you need to know in order to win prizes while watching the Monthly Cup stream is to link your Faeria account directly to Twitch by using The Hub. We've made it as easy as possible for you.

Please note, if you have ever changed your Twitch display name after linking your accounts, you MUST unlink your accounts then RELINK them, or you will receive no prizes. Changing your Twitch username breaks the linking process. Egg hatching

As with every other Monthly Cup, Eggs will be hatching the entire weekend. There are 8 total hatchlings you can potentially get. After that, your Eggs won't hatch. It's possible to hatch more than one Egg in the same weekend. If you're logged into Faeria during the hatching period, your Eggs are even more likely to hatch.
