Focus Mode is the dark environment you enter once you start shooting. If you want to keep background art visible while shooting and you don't mind colors from the playfield clashing with the background then you can turn it off. Some players find that it's more distracting to have it on. So you may want to disable it and see for yourself.

You now have unlimited retries per area; you will not be taken back to Area 1 after dying twice. I realized this was unfair to most players, therefore this change should allow a higher number of players to beat the game. Fixed these achievements: - 1st Encounter: Don't touch the screen borders in Area 4 - Humans: Kill all Popcorns in Area 4 And an issue with the background music's volume ignoring the value set in Options upon area restart. I suggest you play the game in windowed since fullscreen mode introduces some issues, notably Steam Overlay glitching and in some cases the game appearing off-center. Lastly, if you enjoyed the game or have anything to say about it, leaving a review is much appreciated! I read them all, and while I can't guarantee to work all the feedback into the game, I keep note of many points for my future projects.

I updated the game with windowed mode now working properly. Though the game offsetting to the right/left in fullscreen mode is still an issue on some monitors (still fixable by going windowed). If the game detects you have World Log entries whose Steam achievements haven't been triggered, you'll get those achievements unlocked automatically. This solves any issues with achievements not registering on Steam's side right away, or if you moved from the itch.io build to the Steam build and want to register your World Log entries as Steam achievements. Controller support is partial as far as the main menu goes. You can still control the aircraft just fine. The Steam overlay showing around the game is still a minor issue that I can't guarantee to fix anytime soon. It doesn't take away from the game itself since it's only the area around it that's affected, and you can still fix it by going windowed. If you experience slowdown on low-end machines, I suggest you run the game at x1 Screen Multiplier in windowed mode, then use the Magnifier tool (on Windows or otherwise) to zoom into the game's window. Not recommended for reading text... but it works.
