Hello and welcome to our 5th weekly news! We manage to keep up the pace, who would have thought?
Today we are going to tell you a bit more about the different kind of infected you will encounter through the world of Dead Maze. Not all of them are brain-hungry, slow, dumb machines, you'll see!
The Crawler

This half creature looks slow and quite harmless, but don't underestimate it. If you wander too closely, it will surely cross the remaining distance with a surprising leap, and grip so tightly to your leg that you will be heavily restrained. And if more than one of those attack you? You will be completely stuck where you are, and an easy prey for the remaining infected, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to gnaw on your tender flesh.
Better avoid those crawling creeps, or kill them quickly, because they can be quite a shameful way to die.
The Puker

This is a huge, disgusting pile of blood and vomit, just waiting for the perfect opportunity to spit its guts all over your precious self.
You will be warned of this vile attempt through a circle that you will have to avoid, because once you get vomited upon, you are quite in danger: you will receive more damage each attack, your speed will be considerably slowed down, and last but not least, your stench will attract more infected through a quite large area. Keep that bile at bay!
The Screamer

That one is a nasty bit. It is not very hard to kill, but only if you manage to catch this evasive little bugger.
It will try its best to hide among a horde of infected, or run away from potential threats as fast as possible, but if you leave it alone for too long, it will start screaming (making quite a ruckus), and attract many more of its friends to help. You don't want to let it scream for too long, or you will have a lot to deal with afterwards.
The Protector

This former police officer is quite zealous, and will protect its fellow infected friends in a wide range of action. If you spot one in the middle of a horde, make sure you take it down first, because all the damage on its immediate friends will be greatly reduced as long as it stands.
It's quite slow to move, but be careful, it's said to be able to charge in a very aggressive manner occasionally.
The Catapult

This beefy monster looks dangerous, but surprisingly, it will prefer attacking from afar. And what better projectile than... another infected?
The Catapult likes to hide among hordes, and will gladly grab an infected by the neck to
throw it your way, preferably behind your back when you're not looking. Such a cowardly creep.
There are many other special infected, but we will cover them in another news!
