We have an update coming very soon we are getting close to its release. We have gathered thoughts and opinions from convention attendees, user feedback and reviews. This update is a culmination of what they have said combined with some of what we were already planning. We basically realized we need to get to the meat of the game faster, that is what this update attempts to do. Here is a list of what we will be delivering in this next update. -Better initial teaching of core mechanics -Re-work of the entire story... We've added plot! -System A reworked for gameplay, pacing and story -System B in beta stage with more levels -Better indicators for Bit/Item Makers are ready for pickup -Turrets will be re-deployable (keeping current health) -Wingnut indicators improved for when it's about to infect a Tesla Lamp -New areas to explore -New weapons -New game Mechanics -More original music by our composer Aldo "Trnzaddict" Ferrante -A bunch of bugs fixed ( maybe some new ones introduced :-p ) We realize we have been slow with the updates and it could look like we are just another one of those Early Access developers that abandon their projects. I want to assure you all that though we may be slow with releasing we are continuing to work on Bit Shifter now and into the future. We also are perfectionists so we don't want to release until we feel it's ready. That leads me to you all the loyal users of Steam we need your help if you liked Bit Shifter spread the word write a review and let us know what you think, contact those You-tubers you love and get them to do a let's play we will send them a key, shout at the top of the mountain we don't care just spread the word. We have some awesome reviews right now but we need more not just to boost our presence but so we know we are going in the right direction or headed for a cliff. To everyone who has purchased our game, written a review, made a let’s play, came to a convention and just gave us their support in some way or another: Thank you all we will continue to work on Bit Shifter it’s you all keeping us going. Sincerely, Jim Horn

Fighting Virus. Who Says It’s All Fun and Games?
Bit Shifter is a 3D action/strategy game where you fly a hover ship that can pickup and place and heal your robotic soldiers in the war against the virus threatening your PC. It takes place in a futuristic world, inside of your computer, where the viral threat could lead to catastrophic system failure. You play the role of Flash Bios, who pilots a virus fighting vessel called the Scandisc. You must strategically deploy virus fighting robots called Bits, and protect them while they clean up the virus. Where will you put them? Choose wisely because the virus spreads faster down the data paths and if it reaches the Data Stream it will corrupt the whole system!
Bit Shifter has a retro arcade feel and a unique blend of action and strategy elements. The intuitive flight model and the simple strategic premise allow a player to jump right in and have fun while slowly building skills for more advanced play.
