Also, we will be pushing new updates onto our beta branch on a regular basis, so all of you can play with new features and new fixes before it’s officially been released! Here are the patch notes for Clawface v1.01 that we have pushed out for the Windows version! We will be pushing the Mac and Linux version very soon. Again, we welcome all of your feedback and comments! <3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Weapon Updates - Thunderballz nerfed * Damage decreased from 1.35 to 1.2 * Max chained enemies decreased from 5 to 3 * Homing radius decreased from 7 to 4.5 User Interface Updates - Current score multiplier is now shown underneath the current combo in-game - Leaderboards Menu now displays the top score first and allows scrolling with the mouse and refined speed for the joystick Level Editor Updates - Floor Menu has added coloring feature. (Choose tile colors for creating your own rainbow levels!) - Easily reposition spawns after you place them with click-drag-drop - Spawns Menu has added wave advancement feature (Choose the # To Advance to the next wave per spawn type) Bug Fixes - Fixed a MAJOR level load problem which didn't load spawns. Any saved level data is still valid and will load properly now - Fixed issue in Level Editor where player could place Keira on a tile that would be raised in the first wave - Exiting a level editor test with infinite waves after looping around no longer keeps Keira around - Eating enemies now occurs with more visual reliability - The Enemy animation rigs are now being more comprehensively reset - Fixed issue where player could not progress past first wave because of enemies not properly dying - Keira’s animation when you beat a level is now forced to display as idle - Moving forward and back between menus quickly no longer forces a menu to stay visible and ensures one menu always shows - Music transitions between waves occurs with more fluidity Other - Tweaked combo numbers at which the multiplier increases - Opening video formatted for cross-platform compatibility - Mouse cursor locked to screen bounds Known Issues We’re Working on Solving - Macs will not load level after weapon select - Blood stays on restart level sometimes - Keyboard navigation of menus doesn’t work if in “mouse mode” - Analog Stick doesn’t work for exiting “mouse mode” - Selected Buttons get stuck in selected mode when switching between mouse and controller (background stays in hovered state) - Possible to open the pause menu while the tutorial is speeding back up - Menus break when spamming all buttons in weapon select that not are ‘A’ - Sometimes Blaster enemy’s rotation is off after spawn - Squids aim for too close to edge if player is standing near edge; should allow them to jump further inland so they don’t snap back to previous position - Sometimes Blaster enemy continues to shoot while blinking instead of playing stunned animation - Leaderboard Buttons not coloring properly (text doesn’t turn pink when clicked) - Leaderboard text misaligned - Leaderboard scrolling starts in the middle of list instead of at top - Leaderboard “Adjacent” shows only scores below - “Start” button in weapon select menu doesn’t show correct state (is selected / hovered) - No “Back” button in weapon select menu for mouse users. “Escape” will work in the meantime. - “Apply” changes button in settings menu is an unclear interaction. Will implement confirmation dialog for applying changes when exiting menu. - Button confirm sound effect is played 11 times simultaneously upon entering from main menu - Entering leaderboards menu inside the level editor will break the game.
