StoneJam 5 Ending (+ loot event coming up!)
Were very nearly wrapped up with StoneJam 5! Thank you to all the participants for sharing your incredible work. StoneJam was originally conceived as a way for our community to engage more deeply with Stone Story RPG. As the game grew, so did Stonescript and the ways that players could use it. Every new StoneJam has been an opportunity to experiment and push the boundaries of what is possible with a bit of technical knowledge and a LOT of creativity. StoneJam 5 has continued to expand what we thought possible within Stone Story RPG. From small animal pets to combat scripts to detailed UI interfaces, our players never cease to amaze us with what they can do!

If youve got a handy combat script, you may want to get it ready. Well be having a Bolesh 2x Loot Event coming up! For this event we wanted to try out something new. In the upcoming 2x Loot Event, Bolesh will be doubling the QUALITY of the loot rather than the QUANTITY. What does this mean for you? To be honest, we have no idea! We thought wed give it a shot to see how players react, so if youre looking to score some good loot now would be the time to do it. Keep an eye out for another announcement!

Stone Story is an RPG set in a dark and vile world. The game's fluid ascii art is painstakingly animated in plain text by a single insane game developer. The game has been in development since 2014 and is presently in closed beta testing. It features 8 locations to explore, 8 boss fights, mind-blowing ascii cutscenes and plenty of loot to discover.

The casual play contrasts with the retro visuals, providing a unique experience that blends nostalgia with modern design principles. One of the game's defining mechanics is that you have no direct control of the player character. You choose what items to equip, which location to visit and relax while an artificial intelligence does all the exploring, combat and looting. That doesn't mean this is an idle game. Potions and special abilities are maximized by good timing. Boss fights are intense and can keep you at the edge of your seat, requiring quick item swaps if the boss changes patterns. Additionally, an item crafting system allows you to combine otherwise disposable items--rewarding experimentation, giving you interesting choices and making full use of all the gathered loot.
