Brickfest 1.2.0 is now out with several improvements and a new "Persistent" game mode where bricks spawn at regular intervals and of which some contain the new "Death" drop. Along with that, here is a summary of other changes:

• Improved level browser clarity
• Scoring and achievement system made somewhat easier
• Paddle movement made to be more precise and smoother
• Fixed an issue where the game would force itself to use vsync
• Window size and position is now remembered when you click "Exit"

• Bricks will sometimes drop buffs and debuffs to your game
  
• Some add extra balls, change speed, alter paddle size
  
• Each ball you keep in the game multiplies a brick's value
  
• Speed of the ball also multiplies brick value
