Hey everyone! Since I have a new game coming out soon (Poosh XL - Wishlist here) I wanted to pop back into some of my other games and fix bugs and make some improvements. -Updated to a newer Unity Engine version -Fixed a bunch of minor reported bugs -Adjusted some particle effects to be less performance draining -Implemented a brand new internal leaderboards menu that shows you and the 9 nearest scores without leaving the game window. I also kept a button that links to Steam overlay full leaderboards externally. -Updated the Adamvision logo splash, no more bright white screen, this is the future. -Made changes to ensure compatibility on Steam Deck, tested and confirmed working great hopefully it gets Steam Deck Verified soon :) I hope you continue to enjoy my games, and please check out Poosh XL. Patch Notes: (additional leader boards + online for switch)

  • New Infinite play mode added
  • New Unlock-able Space Rocks skin
  • Bonus Points power-up is now worth 5 Points
  • Added Bit Blaster, Orbt, and Diamo songs for each of the special characters
  • When you're stationary with a time slow power-up, the growth of the ball will stop completely
  • Early button presses after death will not be erroneously detected
  • Power-up timers correctly reset when dying and restarting they now also disappear upon death
  • Pink enemy now correctly has it's trail fade in/out with the rest of the enemy
  • Modified and added some little secrets here and there
  • Re-balanced some late game elements to ensure there are always viable paths to take and made 250+ not dependent on power-ups
  • Player can now remain idle slightly longer before exploding

Patch Notes:


-Modified the Blade (power03) power up to now award a point for every enemy that you cut through during it's duration -Modified the Point (power00) power up to now award three points upon activation instead of two -Modified the Time (power01) power up to no longer completely stop time. Now the power will slow time to about 25% speed but for a longer duration. This adds more challenge as the enemies still move which decreases the over powered nature of this power up in end game times but also allows players to better get close calls on the slower enemies. -Slightly altered the overall balancing of enemy spawning and speeds to compensate for the changes made to power ups. -Changed font throughout to better fit into the games aesthetic -Improved the look of power up pick ups -Changed the appearance of text and effects for bonus points -Better effects and particles for when enemies explode and hit walls -Softened and altered a variety of particle effects to make them blend better with the overall aesthetics and be more lean for lower end CPUs -Altered all in game menus to have more noticeable / functional selection methods. -Added minor new background effects to further the neon / soft / ?foggy? kind of aesthetic I was aiming for -Pressing back from the round end menu will now back out to the character select screen, and then back again will go to the menu -Resolved bug where screen shaking continued into pause menu -Fixed some rare unusual particle layering during the pause menu I have also created a separate branch on Steam for players that have issues or don't like the changes made, so they can still access V3 through the BETA menu in the Steam Client. Patch Notes:


-Added a small timer on player to show how long time based power ups have remaining. -Extended time slow power up slightly, as well as changed so enemies gradually (but quickly) resume normal speed instead of instantly. -Added a second check when exiting the game to properly shutdown the Steam API which I had reports that it had been remaining open after playing resulting in SteamCloud getting messed up. (will need feedback on whether this resolves those issues) -Optimized a variety of GFX and textures to improve performance on extremely low end machines. -Resolved an issue where transition system would get stuck and confused, resulting in some loading not being hidden. -Resolved correct link for new Developer page. -Improved some translations with player feedback. HOTFIX 07-02-2018 Resolved an exploitable bug with the special power ups.     This is an 'XL' version of my popular mobile game 'Ding Dong'. I have added/changed a variety of things to make it more suitable for the Steam platform and improved a lot of code and features based on knowledge gained since I originally made it. I have been learning to make games by making games and love creating small-yet-solid arcade games with simple mechanics. Please expect 'Ding Dong XL' to be a small, re-playable, arcade score-chaser game where the only basic goals are to constantly beat your previous score and unlock a handful of cosmetic skins for the character.     Gameplay:
    Ding and Dong between the top and bottom of the screen as you attempt to avoid obstacles, collect points, and smash helpful power-ups. Try to survive as long as you can!


    Controls:
    Pressing the Ding Dong button allows you to cross the screen from top to bottom or vice-versa. Wait for the proper timing and don't hit enemies. Easy one button control with a Gamepad/Controller, Keyboard, or mouse.
