Week 12 - One thing leads to another (November 22th - 28th, 2016) This is just a quick update before the week is gone. :) Have you ever started down a certain path (Player tile) and then realized 1.5 weeks later that you spent nearly the whole time on a different path (Goal/Manager tiles). :) But that's okay! Now player (and tiles) communicate smoother with goals for their win/lose/tie conditions! Player is still being polished, while goal and manager tiles have become super cool! We should have videos showcasing all the new features next week. Here's a highlight of the extended goal system for Build a Game. - Any tile can be a goal contributor (ex. pickup items) - Win states - Lose states - Tie state - Co-op mode (win/lose) - Verses mode (win/lose) - Instant win/lose options - Time mode (can be single or part of a set of goals) - Goals can also check for: score/points, health, and lives across any tile - Each goal can have multiple states for win/lose - Goal tiles can be combined (using Tile Manager) for any number of goal options We look forward to showing you all the fun new things in Build a Game, next week!
