We did an initial test of the Co OPERATION demo and got some great feedback for how we can improve the game. Weve been working away to fix those issues and are now gearing up towards a second demo play test!
This is the game Shaz (co-creator of BFF or Die) has been making with his new games studio Mind Feast Games.
What did we find?
The main issues we found were with players connecting and disconnecting to the game - we need to work on a way for players to rejoin a game easily if they drop out for any reason.
There were lots of fun bugs ! There were a few patients spawning where they are not supposed to And at one stage, one player threw medicine to another, who threw a patient to them and the patient then disappeared!
We also realised that nowhere have we included the backstory, so Josh has been working on that and come up with this!
Joshs progression from sketch to finished comic strip
New action buttons
We found that some of the action buttons that players use to programme their moves were a little confusing so Josh gave them a makeover! Even though Josh usually sticks to 2D art, we all thought the 3D effect on the arrow looked cosier and squidgier so we went with that. We want our game to be cosy and squidgy so it fits
Heres an example of some of the spruced-up button art.
Action buttons for throw and moving in one direction
Modding
Our modding tools are really coming along with lots of exciting new features from co-founder and programmer Rupert that make it easier to write and test your custom Lua scripts. This includes the ability to control players and run scripts in our level viewer! Joe (fellow programmer) added some new UI that visualises & lets you change the current game phase
As you can see in this video, the Lua scripts in our Co OPERATION game package mean that changing the phase can cause new patients to spawn and health to reduce But change a few lines of mod code and something entirely different could happen . . .
[previewyoutube=fiL3IbqSwNA;full][/previewyoutube]
Clipboards
How do you know what medicine to give your patients? We now have some handy clipboards which show you
Design a poster
Last month we ran a poster design event. We asked our Discord community for ideas for posters that could feature on the walls of our in-game hospital world. We had some great ideas and Josh has turned them into these!
The first idea came from James and the second from JFarceur (apparently this angry parrot is a thing in Canada) - thanks to both of them!
Then Shaz added them into the game world and they turned out looking like this!
Universities
Weve been working with three different universities to help test the modding abilities of the platform weve developed called MultiTurn!
We have students from Plymouth Uni who are working on a new mod of the game as we speak. Shaz has been working with students from Norwich who are also testing the modding code. And a researcher from Basel wants her students to evaluate Co OPERATION from the point of view of self-determination theory, or what really motivates people to play a game
We are really looking forward to seeing what these students come up with. Shaz (game/level designer) is especially excited to play a mod so he can play new content internally with the team (that he didnt design!)
If you want to also be an early stage modder and/or play the next demo (due to be out in Dec some time?) then you can join our Discord.
An amazing co-operative throw-chain!
See you soon,
Shaz, Julia and the MFG team

The demo of Co OPERATION: MultiTurn will be playable in the next few days!! Eeep!
Join our Discord to be part of the first live playtest of the demo!
This is the game Shaz (co-creator of BFF or Die) has been making with his new games studio Mind Feast Games.
Theres too much loneliness in the world and we want to bring people together with this game Its multiplayer in a similar way to Jackbox and uses your phone as the controller to make it more accessible. Only one person needs to have the game installed and they can then stream it to others wholl get a room code.
Think Jackbox BUT crossed with Overcooked and with little sprinkle of turn-based strategy too. Co OPERATION is a game where the fun comes from collaborating and winning together
Also
Modding! Yes, you can also mod the game! You wanna put cats everywhere? You can! Joe and Rupert have added Lua code that you can change. Also, we use the same level editing system that you will (if you make levels).
So, what can you expect from the playtest?
Amazing animations. Josh has been adding carry and bump animations to all the characters.
Tamira the athlete bumping into something - notice how her expression changes too!
Juggler Ethan with his wobbly nose!
We want the patients to look sick but not too sick, so Josh animated one of them like this
Patient Grace with her intermittent cough
Having the 2D animated players in a level really makes the game come alive, they are so nice and bouncy
Players waiting for their actions
Incredible UI. How are you going to know when a patient is nearly a goner? Joes added some handy hearts to show you.
Hearts will go down after each turn - can you figure out how to cure each patient before they go down to zero ?
Patients are usually super happy once theyve been cured! Heres patient Ed Banger rocking-out after being cured by the team!
Lovely levels. Shaz has been pulling everything together to create 9 levels for 2, 3 and 4 players.
How Level 6 is looking in 4 player mode

(*We also have regular events on our Discord! Live games, chats with other indies, longer drop in, drop out games and creative events such as design-a-poster for the in-game world!)

We are now *very nearly* at the point where we can release the first version of this new game Ive been working on with my new company Mind Feast Games..!
Whats the story behind the game? Well, running hospitals is expensive. A clever bean in central government decided that tearing up requirements for medical qualifications would help. So volunteers are now welcome in hospitals! You decide to enrol and help your local hospital. You can be one of four characters whose specialist skills are throwing and catching; Jason the American footballer , Prisha the pizza chef , Ethan the juggler or Tamira the javelin athlete
Josh and Kaitlin, our two artists, have been working hard on these 2D characters and the 3D objects that youll have to navigate in the game.
This is Prisha the chef getting a patient to a bed in the fastest way possible!
And a water cooler that is looking a bit the worse for wear . . . is that a fish inside it?!
Josh even managed to teach himself animation so the characters can do this now:
Ethan the juggler idling, running and throwing
Ive been weaving together the 2D characters, 3D objects and hospital world to create some fun levels - heres how level one in two-player mode is shaping up:
Tamira the athlete and Jason the American footballer waiting to be given their actions!
Joe and Rupert have been doing stirling work on the code, and the characters are now able to do 4 moves in a row without breaking the game engine Joe has also revealed a hidden talent for UI (user interface) design and has created lovely selection screens for levels and characters:
[previewyoutube=ZsovWtBRq7s;full][/previewyoutube]
Our Discord has been steadily growing and we have been playing games such as Build-a-body, Emoji Movies and Story Hive .
Heres a collage of each mini-chapter we made for Book 1 of Story Hive. One of our community members created it so we could remember the laughs we had writing it - thanks James!
We also play live games like JackBox once a week which Bronte has been streaming on our Discord so we can all play together.
The even more exciting news is that the demo is very nearly ready!!
You can wishlist it on Steam now!
Of course, you can also get in touch with any questions, queries or comments - wed love to hear from you!
See you soon,
Shaz, Julia and the MFG team

They guys from DotSlashFrag will be streaming in 4-player directly to our Steam page. Through the magic of Parsec they will all be playing online..! DotSlashFrag are a group of friends bringing laughter and entertainment to the world through video games. Despite not being on the same couch for our couch co-op caper, I still have faith that they can beat all 30 levels of the story mode. Friendship! Hooooo! (The Infinite Trials mode might be a bit harder...?) You can check out more of DotSlashFrag over on their site where you can get links to their Youtube, Twitch and Discord channels. Enjoy the stream and join in with the chat if you can! Cheers, Shaz (The game designer)

ChromaGlitch are married Texas streamers, Pisenti and Shirt. Will they BFF or... Die? They're playing in 2-player mode live on Steam. This is the first time we've had friends and community members stream to our Steam page. Hopefully we'll do more in the future! Should be fun! Let us know if you want to stream a playthrough on our page too. You can see more of Pisenti and Shirt on their Twitch and Youtube channels. Get all their links here.

Merry End-of-2020!
This must be the strangest year in recent human history. Like many people I had some unexpected events happen which made life a bit harder in the short term earlier this year. BUT Im very glad to say that my personal year is ending on a high note. Thats for a couple of reasons and one of those is that our game BFF or Die is now out on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, in addition to the existing PC version :)
Its been a long time coming for sure. I just checked the date of the very 1st developer diary I posted on Youtube when we had a super basic gameplay demo and that was waaay back in 2014. So for us three people that made the game, finally seeing it out on all the main gaming platforms feels like a significant event for us.
To all the people that have supported us for a while - thanks for sticking with us :) And to people that dont yet know us or our game very well - hi! ( ^_^)
With the help of our publisher partner 2Awesome studio weve been able to release on all the major consoles at the same time, just last week in fact!
Its been super cool to see the support from the platforms too. Sony posted our trailer on their main PlayStation Youtube and Twitter accounts! And Nintendo and Xbox did the same on their respective news/indie game channels :) I cant say that BFF or Die is the biggest or the best game out there but it feels nice to think that all the main console companies are happy to promote it to their followers.
If you tend to play your couch co-op, around-the-TV-together games on console rather than PC then give it a spin on your platform of choice. If playing with younger family members Id say that kids 9+ are old enough to get it, although kids 7+ who are already gamers can often work out the winning strategies too.
Youll get 2-3 hours of gameplay from the main story mode and then another couple hours from the infinite trials mode if you want the extra challenge.
All the links are below, so if youre likely to be with someone you can play it with over the next couple months, then pick your platform, download and have fun!.(You can play it in single-player mode but I think its more fun in co-op mode).

Xbox Store
Switch Store

Some big news! Well, it is for us three guys that made BFF or Die anyway. This November it's coming out on Switch, Xbox and PlayStation..!
I can't remember how many times people have said to me "this game should be on Switch". Well, now it will be :)
Our publishing friends at 2Awesome Studio helped make this happen. They're developers themselves (check out their shoot em'up Dimension Drive - it's a clever twist on the classic genre that gets your brain working harder than you'd expect) and recently they started helping out indies to get their games onto consoles. Glad to say that BFF or Die stood out to them as a fun couch co-op game so they wanted to work with us to bring it out on more platforms.
If you tend to play local multiplayer games on console rather than PC, then give it a spin on your system of choice!
BFF Or Die Console Launch Dates
- PlayStation4 - Launch: November, 24th
- Xbox One - Pre-order: November 18th with 15% discount | Launch: November 25th
- Nintendo Switch: Pre-order: November, 20th with 15% discount | Launch: November, 27th
I know a few people out there have been following the game for a long time, so thanks for your continued support! You can share the console announcement trailer below if you'd like to help us spread the news :)

How's everyone doing during the (hopefully!) last weeks of the social lock-downs that many countries are experiencing? As a game designer/developer working from home is quite normal for me. Although I will be glad when everyone is more free and we can have friends over again/visit people.
We thought it was about time we updated BFF or Die. I keep an eye on any comments people leave about the game across various communication channels so decided to make the adjustments below.
Controller Options
Alex made a really cool new intro animation more clearly shows you can have:
- Shared controllers (two people on each pad)
- Separate controllers (one person on each pad)
- One person on keyboard
- Two people on keyboard
- Any combination of the above
Difficulty
It's really hard trying to make a difficulty curve that suits everyone. When I used to go round to gaming events and watch people play there would always be a big difference between the skill level of players. We could have gone the old way of doing "easy mode, normal mode, hard mode" but I think that's not optimal because how can you know what mode you should play if you've never played it before? What we have instead is a dynamic difficulty that responds to how you do in the game. Ideally we want everyone to have the experience that is right for them, whether they are an experienced gamer or someone who just started playing PC games recently. So, this update increases that range. Whether you are super skilled or just learning how it all works, the difficulty should adapt to you and be fun for you. By default, the game is a bit more exciting/harder in the earlier levels now because I think most people on Steam are in the "experienced gamer" category. For the challenge seekers, the "infinite mode" (random levels, keep going until you die once) which unlocks after you complete the story game is pretty damn hard. Even I can't get more than 8 or so levels into it before I die and have to restart. Especially now that I've forgotten all those different level configurations I designed! (I do play it 2-player mode by myself though, two characters on one control pad, for extra challenge).
Environments
Just a small change - we swapped some of the environment art around for a bit more visual variety. That's it for now. See you later Shaz (The game designer)

Steam's new feature, called Remote Play Together, has now rolled out to *all* Steam users! \o/ This means you can invite your friends to play BFF or Die in online co-op mode!
Just launch the game, open your friend list (press shift and tab on Widows), choose a friend and click on "Remote Play Together".
Steam are still tweaking the feature so it will improve over time. In our testing it's definitely good enough to have a fun co-op game. I played it online with a friend who is a few hundred miles away. There was a little lag but not enough to affect the gameplay too much. So if you have a friend far far away who you really wanna co-op with, now you can!
Whoever of your friends has the best internet connection and fastest PC should host the game. Only the host needs to have the game downloaded and installed.
Have fun!

You can now play BFF or Die online with your friends directly in Steam! Previously we told you that you can do that using Parsec's free service and now you can do the same using Steam's new "Remote Play Together" service. It's still in Beta so here's how you opt-in:
1. Go to your Steam settings and enable "Steam Beta Update", which will update and download a new version of Steam.
2. Launch BFF or Die, open your friends list (press shift and tab together on Windows), and invite a friend to play with you by selecting "Remote Play Together". Your friend must also have Steam Beta enabled.
3. Your friend then clicks "Play Game" and they will join the game with you.
We tested with 2 players in different regions of the UK and it was a good experience, there was some minor lag but not enough to affect the gameplay too much. We used Steam's in-built voice chat too and for the most part it worked well. Of course it's not the same as being in the same room and playing on the same PC, but it's the next best thing.
Which ever of your friends has the fastest PC and the best internet connection should host the game. Only the person hosting needs have the game downloaded and installed.
Have Fun!
Cheers,
Shaz (the game designer)

Merry Summer!
I just uploaded a quick fix to address the following issue some people were having: Changing resolution was not working as expected, and pressing escape was resetting the settings.
Here's how it now works:
- No options at bootup, the game auto starts in full screen with "80%" graphics quality.
- While playing, press escape to change settings.
- The settings you selected will now be saved locally. Next time you play those same settings will be loaded.
Hope that clears up the issue for those who had it. Let me know if something still doesn't seem right.
Cheers,
Shaz

Merry 2019 :)
We updated the game a few times recently and are now much happier with it and hope you are too. I mean, we liked the release version of course (which had come after 4+ years of development and countless adjustments a lot of testing) but these recent small tweaks to the difficulty curve and other things have added a lot of fun factor.
Sale
To celebrate feeling good about the updatees, it's on sale at a discount of 25% this week. If you know friends who love a bit of co-op action-puzzlin' then let them know it's super-not-expensive right now.
1%
Only about 1% of people leave a Steam review. If you have fun playing BFF or Die and appreciate that we wanted to create a purely co-operative experience then please be one of those people and write that review. The automated overlord that we know as THE ALGORITHM will only smile down upon our couch co-op if you leave a sacred sacrifice of one Steam review.

To say thanks we're adding quotes from out favourite reviews (in English) to the main store page :) So get creative with your words..!
Parsec
Another reminder that you can play BFF or Die (or any other game) as if it has online multiplayer by using Parsec. More details in this post. Cheers, Alex, Shaz, Anj ASA Studio

It's midnight here in the UK, so obvioulsy it's... the perfect time to upload a new build to Steam!
Main View
The main gameplay viewpoint has been adjusted. People playing on a small screen or while sitting far back from a TV should find everything easier to see now, especially on the busier/harder levels. Someone had emailed us to let us know that they found it hard to see what was going on at the top of the screen on their setup and we we glad to receive that feedback so we could adjust things and (hopefully) fix the issue they and others may have had. So thanks to that Steam gamer who emailed us! Cheers, Alex, Shaz, Anj ASA Studio

Merry December,
The latest update just went live on Steam!
More Infinity
After you complete story mode, the Infinite Trials will unlock. This is a rogue-like-ish mode that really tests out your co-op skills. Every level is randomised with a mix of procedural and preset content. You only get one chance each time you try - If you die you go back to the home scene. See how many trials you can complete in a row without dying..! Spoiler: its *hard*. In this update we added a lot of new configurations to infinite mode so it should keep you challenged for quite a while...
Music
Weve doubled the length of the main gameplay music and added more variety to the atmosphere. Hope you enjoy it :)
Sounds
Weve added a range of new sound effects to make the Time-Tech even more enjoyable to use and the game-world that little bit more alive.
Bug Fix
In certain conditions, after the Infinite Trials mode was unlocked, it could become inaccessible. Weve now fixed it so that never happens. After you complete zone 30 you should see Zone / like in the image above. If you dont see that, please complete zone 30 again to properly unlock infinite mode.
Small tweaks
As always, weve been watching the Youtube videos and Twitch streams of BFF or Die and made some tweaks to particular levels to make the difficulty curve even more satisfying.
Online Multiplayer with Parsec
We always encourage people to play BFF or Die in co-op mode as this is what the game was built for. If you didnt already hear, you can now play as if it were an online multiplayer by using Parsec. Read our previous community post to find out how to do that.

The second update to BFF or Die is now live on Steam. Weve been listening to peoples feedback and watching all the playthroughs on Youtube and Twitch. (Heres a fun fact - the video that Logitech G made is now the most viewed video of a single game on their channel with over half a million views so far!)
From what we can tell, people on Steam really do love a challenge. In this update weve changed various aspects of the story game in 1, 2, 3 and 4 player modes so that the excitement kicks in sooner and the challenge gets ramped up.
We always encourage people to play BFF or Die in co-op mode as this is what the game was built for. If you didnt already hear, you can now play as if it were an online multiplayer by using Parsec. Read our previous community post to find out how to do that.
Weve also started adding our favourite quotes from Steam reviews to the main store page, so if you write something interesting/insightful/funny/heart-warming in your review then we may add a quote!
Well be continuing to listen to feedback to help us figure out what updates to make in the future in addition to the things we already have planned. Have fun!

For a time we had plans to make BFF or Die work as an online multiplayer game. After further discussion and some early tests we came to the conclusion that it would add an unachievable workload to our small team of three, who at that time were totally self funded and working on the game in our spare time only.
People still do ask us if BFF or Die will ever be playable as an online multiplayer. Were very glad to say that it is *now* thanks to some magic software called Parsec! After someone on the community page (thank you to a prolific Steam reviewer called Darkness!) told us about Parsec we were intrigued and started testing it out.
Heres how it works: you decide which game a friend can access, run it and then stream your screen to them. You also give your friend permission to access your control pad and/or keyboard. That friend can then play any game with you as if it has native online multiplayer support. Magic!
A few tests later and we were impressed enough to get in touch with the people who make Parsec and have a call with them so now BFF or Die is on their list of curated games :) It really does work well, especially if you have a good internet connection and a fast enough PC.
Heres how to get started:
First use whichever voice chat you normally use and start a call with your friend. Parsec doesnt require this, but BFF or Die is *all about the communication* so you need to be able to speak and listen to your teammate to have fun playing it together.
- Download the Parsec application from: http://parsecgaming.com (its free)
- Open it and create an account.
- Ask your friend to download Parsec and create an account.
- Open Steam and Run BFF or Die, leave it running and go back to Parsec.
- In the Parsec hosting settings select the apps on your machine that can be accessed by other people - choose BFF or Die.
- Add your friend to your friend list and choose which controllers they can take over- choose keyboard and/or control pad.
- Your friend will see a play button which lets them join your session if they click it.
- Now when you go back to BFF or Die your friend will see and hear it and they can control a character so you can play together!

The first update for BFF or Die in now live on Steam. These are mostly small details that have been adjusted and you can see the details below. We've been listening to feedback and watching the Twitch streams and Youtube videos that are being made to see which aspects should be adjusted.
Launch Settings
You can now select the launch settings you want (graphics quality and screen resolution) and they won’t be overridden by the settings from the last time you played.
Options Menu Console
Pressing “Enter” on keyboard will now confirm selections.
Fix: “Home” button stays visible when it should.
Space Base
The holo-walls in the Space Base have been extended. A few visitors to the Space Base were a bit scared when it seemed they could occasionally see the black void of space right behind them and no walls! Of course, the secure anti-vacuum tech the Orbees built was working all along so there was never any danger to anyone!
Re-Motivated Mummies
On a few rare occasions Chase-Mummies were giving up and not bothering to move, even if zapped with the Drone Launcher! They have since re-discovered their work ethic and will endeavour to keep doing what they do.
Zone Settings
A few adjustments ‘under the hood’.
Reviving
The Revive-Tech powered by your Time Academy suits got an upgrade! Now you can revive multiple friends in quick succession!
Pause When In Background
If you minimise the game and open a different window/app BFF or Die will pause and go silent.
We’re Listening
We’ll continue to listen to feedback and watch the reactions we see to BFF or Die. We’ll also start adding our favorite Steam reviews to the store text..!
Once you complete the story game in 1-player mode, try it in 2, 3 or 4-player mode as the challenges will change and the overall experience will be quite different. Then try “The Infinite Trials” if you want to really challenge yourself and/or your team.
Cheers,
Alex, Shaz and Anj (ASA Studio)

So I heard about this funky new co-op puzzle game. Apparently it’s out... *right now!*
What is it called again? B… BF… oh yeah… BFF or Die! o/
You can enjoy it in either single player mode or in a group of 2-4 people. Whichever one you choose will change the kind of experience you have. So maybe try completing the story game in both single player *and* in local co-op mode :) If you make it that far you can really test your BFF skills in The Infinite Trials.
For us it’s a really exciting time to see our passion project out there in the wider world. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 4+ years while we made this game :)
We hope you enjoy playing BFF or Die and have many funny, cozy, exciting and rewarding moments with the game and with whoever you play with. We’ll be listening to feedback so tell us about your experience of playing it in the reviews section and on the Steam community page. We may even add our favourite quotes about the game to the text on the store page :D
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Alex, Shaz and Anj (ASA Studio)

Hey,
Shaz here, the game designer on BFF or Die. Just writing a quick post to say that, at the moment, everything is on track for release on Thursday 13th September..! :)
We’ve been sending out test builds to people with different configurations of Windows, Mac and Linux and all is going well, the game is running smoothly and we think all the main issues have been fixed so the game can be enjoyed as intended.
We’re both excited and nervous and hope you’ll appreciate this thing we’ve been crafting for over four years now. Whether you play in single player mode or local co-op with a few friends, you can be assured we have spent *a lot* of time and effort making sure you’ll have a really engaging and enjoyable experience
You never know how things will go when you work on something intensely and then put it out there for other people to experience and judge. We’re def proud of getting this far though. We’re a small team of three who all have different obligations outside of this project and seeing our game in our respective Steam Libraries side by side with other games we’ve had great times with is a good feeling :)
Anyway, I better get back to my final checklist of things to do..!
See ya later,
Shaz

Hey,
Shaz here, game designer on BFF or Die. This week we’d like to show you a 5 minute mini documentary about BFF or Die which was made in November 2017. Making this game has been a journey of over four years so far. As a small team there are a lot of different things we do other than make the game itself…!
In this vid, videographers Tom Lafferty and Jack Hynes tag along with me to co-working office Space4, the games showcase at Reading Comic Con, a meetup/party at UKIE who are one of the UK trade bodies for video games and to a London Indies meetup which is a game developer community group I’m part of.

It tends to be me who takes the game around to public events, that’s why you don’t see Alex, our artist, or Anj, our programmer in this vid. Hopefully you’ll see them in a future video if they let me do that..! They usually prefer to be left to work on the game is their secret bunkers :D
At this point we’ve seen around 2000 people play the game at various stages of development over the years at many different events. It’s been a great way to help us see how to improve the game by listening to feedback and also a lot of motivation to keep going after seeing all the positive reactions and hearing the nice comments. We’ll post something more in depth about that another time..!
Btw the gameplay shown in the mini documentary is, of course, now old and outdated so check out the latest trailer below for more recent gameplay footage.

[img= https://media.giphy.com/media/1iP4ZOhvXOdNqKAwGC/giphy.gif] Hey BFFs! We’re super-excited to announce that BFF or Die will be releasing via Steam on September 13th, 2018! After the game’s received such great feedback at shows throughout the UK over the last few years, we’re delighted to finally give you all the chance to play the way we always imagined: cosied up on the couch with your friends, families and loved ones! Throughout the last few months we’ve been working hard to make the ancient architect of Egypt stand out and look as good as it can, as shown in the screenshots below. With just over two months until the game’s release, we’ll be using that time to extensively test the game and give you a truly memorable co-op experience with your nearest and dearest. The camera movement is one of the many things that we've been refining lately. The main gameplay sections have a tilted overhead viewpoint so you can see each environment clearly.
Then at certain moments the cam zooms in on the environment, an object or a character to progress the story of why our alien time travellers are in the predicament they find themselves in.
We know some people will enjoy following along with the story and voicing the text themselves but some just want to play, so if you want you can skip the story sections easily (you can see the button commands on the top right of the pic).

We have some great news to share: our Steam page is live! BFF or Die is finally releasing to all earthlings in 2018. Take a virtual holiday to Ancient Egypt and celebrate the disappearance of those winter blues. Jump in your Space-Time-Machine, master the challenge of single player mode, then invite some friends and family to huddle around the PC and enjoy a different set of challenges in couch co-op mode.
After a roaring success at gaming events both big and small we are excited to finally share the intimate co-op and thrilling solo puzzling of BFF or Die. Born in 2014, BFF or Die was Greenlit on Steam two years later thanks to enthusiastic gamers recognising the potential of our concept.
Since then we’ve been nominated for and won awards, including Intel Level-Up, GameOn 2.0’s Best Multiplayer Game and we were among the finalists in the Develop Conference Indie Showcase. We were also lucky enough to receive funding support from the UK Games Fund who can only help a small fraction of the studios who apply to them.
BFF or Die has toured the the UK games events circuit for over four years, bringing challenge, panic, laughs, and high fives to over two thousand people, all of whom helped to shape the gameplay through their reactions and feedback. Thankyou to everyone who helped us sculpt the experience of BFF or Die which has been years in the making.
We’ve been working hard all that time - tweaking our time machine, modifying the mummies, and adapting our alien apparatus to make BFF or Die the best game it can be. Now it’s your turn to enjoy it :) We are super excited to share it with you all!
