Welcome, Curators!
Have you ever wanted to build your very own museum, full of awesome (and silly, of course) wonders from across the world of Two Point County? Well, Two Point Studios isimmensely proud to announce our next instalment: Two Point Museum! Wishlist now! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2185060/Two_Point_Museum/

Let's dig into things, shall we?
As fledgling curators, your mission is to breathe new life into the County's museums while uncovering intriguing lost artefacts from around the globe, and beyond. Unlike previous Two Point games where you focused on one spot, this time you can advance your career across multiple Acts, revisiting each exciting location with new developments, thrilling discoveries, and charming decor as your campaign unfolds. [previewyoutube=iGmUKTszyRU;full][/previewyoutube]

The design and management of your expanding museum is in your hands! Coordinate a team of partially trained Experts wholl embark on Expeditions to hunt for rare and mostly well-preserved artefacts. With varied survey locations to choose from, youre set to kick-start a museum career unique to you. When (and lets hope not if) your Experts return from their adventure, proudly display their fantastic finds in your museum.
But your responsibilities dont end there; its super important your Exhibits are kept in tip-top condition! While some Experts are gallivanting the globe, youll be busy managing the team back home to ensure everything runs smoothly. If watching your beloved carnivorous Chomper plant isnt enough excitement, there are pesky thieves to be on the lookout for, so it might be worthwhile investing in some security measures. And let's not forget about the more frequent little visitors-children! They can be pretty inquisitive so sometimes they end up touching or messing with the displays, so having plenty of guards around to watch over your prized collection, alongside staff to maintain things, is a smart move.
As the Curator, the direction your growing museum takes is entirely in your hands! Will your experts trudge begrudgingly through Tar Pits to piece together a Unihornus skeleton, brave the chilly winter wilderness for new frozen finds, or search dense thickets for terrific botanical samples? Youll choose where the next adventure leads you.

Get creative to design your museum layout your way! You have decorative freedom, so with your next exhibit in mind, youll consider the flow of the museum to build the best guest experience possible. Have fun decorating to form snazzy thematic areas, creating internal walls that guide your guests throughout their visit. Get creative with colour and carpet as you lovingly arrange each prehistoric fern, potentially melting iceman, and skeletal dinosaur wherever you think theyll shine.
Once youve established the perfect atmosphere, its time to organise guided tours with custom routes led by one of your charismatic Experts. Tours are just the thing to elevate your guests' experience. To keep everyone enthused on the journey, showcase exhibits buzzing with excitement - the ones that boast the highest quality, information and decoration. Remember to maintain that all-important cohesion, and be mindful not to let tours go on too long; otherwise, your guests might leave feeling tired.

Guests know best! Whilst the various types of guests who frequent your museum have different interests, they do have some things in common they expect the place to be kept clean, have plenty of refreshments, ample toilets, and a gift shop filled with goodies. And, of course, they need to be dazzled with knowledge of your Exhibits, which best be kept well-maintained
Two Point County will bring a variety of guests to your museum, and they all hope to discover their new favourite exhibit. From dino fanatics and botany buffs to haunted horror seekers, youll need to cater to their personal preferences to meet their needs. By exceeding their expectations, you can keep them engaged, leading to longer visits, increased donations, and glowing reviews!

Summary
Curate and design your very own museum! Explore on expeditions to discover new exhibits Creative freedom - place internal walls, customise item colours, splash paint and lay carpet as you lovingly arrange each prehistoric fern Enhanced management - provide guest tours, optimise prices and organise staff zones Excite guests by providing top-notch entertainment and useful exhibit information Manage mayhem - care for carnivorous plants and deter thieves whilst maintaining your museum

Hey, how you doin'?What if I told you that you could travel through space and time for a highly competitive price? Now you're saying "what's the catch?", am I right, or am I right? Well, that's the best part, my friend: no catch, no consequences,no questions asked.
Join Captain Yesterday, inventor, entrepreneur, and all-around family man in our latest DLC, Two Point Hospital: A Stitch in Time, OUT NOW on Steam with a 10% early adopters discount!
You see, the genius that is, Captain Yesterday has been having a few... "complications" with his latest invention, "The Yesterizer". We're talking sick people flying out of holes in the ground... of course this is pretty bad for business, so if you help him by taking care of them, he can keep selling his machines, and bingo-bango... we're back in business. He'll even throw in the opportunity to buy your very own Yesterizer if all goes well, witha 5% discount no less... what a guy!
Two Point Hospital: A Stitch in Time allows you to break through the greatest medical frontier of all: space-time! You'll be leveraging portals to burst into pre-historic, medieval and futuristic time eras, while curing all sorts of anachronistic ailments and sending patients back to their appropriate time periods.
What's included in this awesome, new, time-twisting DLC? Take a look below!
New Levels
Clockwise
Jump back to medieval times in the quaint little town of Clockwise. Rifts in time, or "Time Portals" as we're calling them have been popping up all over the place and people have been bursting out of them like a mentos in a cola bottle! As you expand your hospital you may find more of these "Time Portals", and if you do... things are gunna get busier and busier!
Clockwise-before-Thyme
Ahhh the dawn of civilisation in Two Point County, who'd have thought we'd be so lucky to see it! But this is no time to sit back and take in the view.Captain Yesterday has been getting complaints about missing customers. They enter their Yesterizer and... gone, no trace. So you've come back to the earliest time that the Yesterizer can muster to see if there's anything to be done about it. Thankfully you've been given some blueprints to create your own Time Portals! Once you've developed them, you'll be able to manage patient flow, save patients from the time void and of course, better understand the universe.
Clockwise-after-Thyme
The future is bright, or at least it would be if the earth was still inhabitable... fortunately the people of tomorrow built a safe-haven for themselves dangling precariously over the uninhabitable earth below, plus there's a snazzy new hospital there, woohoo! So it turns out time travel is actually a pretty sensitive business... and you maaayyy have been inadvertently ripping apart the fabric of space-time while on your previous adventures, with people from the past flooding into the future! Captain Yesterday has a plan though, and while these plans don't have a history of astounding success, he's at least 47% sure this'll work. He's handing over the keys to the Yesterizer so you can send the people from the past back to their own time period in one piece!
New Illnesses
13 time-twisting, anachronistic (don't worry, I had to look it up too) visual ailments await you! Ever wondered what Lightheadedness looked like in pre-historic times? Or what Jest Infection was back in the county's medieval stages? Now you can find out!
New Items
Loads of new items from across the ages are included too! Check out the Wormhole bin, where no one really knows where your empty packets of Cheesy Gubbins go. Or cook up a storm with some delicious Primordial Soup, only suitable for consumption if you're REALLY HUNGRY and have nothing else... There's a Map of Time, a Bone Bench and so much more to make your hospitals look super awesome!
Release Notes:
Two Point Hospital: A Stitch in Time
- Added three new levels in exciting time periods!
- Clockwise
- Clockwise-before-Thyme
- Clockwise-above-Thyme
- Added 13 new visual illnesses (34 illnesses in total)
- Jester Infection
- Wooly Man-Mouth
- Fossil Eyes
- Dino Sores
- Reptile Disfunction
- ... and more!
- Added new items
- Wormhole Bin
- Bone Bench
- Non-linear Wall Clock
- Primordial Soup
- ... and more!

Hi everyone!
Are you ready to bring back the arts to Two Point County? Famous artist, Zara Fitzpocket, needs your help in our brand new DLC, Two Point Hospital: Culture Shock - OUT NOW! That's not all though, we've also released the first ever Fancy Dress Pack too with a free outfit to try out, read all about it below!
Culture Shock
Travelling across three exquisite new locations to reignite the arts, your first stop is Plywood Studios where washed-up actor, Roderick Cushion is filming a new TV medical drama. Of course, it wouldn't be a drama without... well, some drama. So the producers of the show have decided to run a real life hospital for the show, and who better to run it than a healthcare wiz like yourself? You'll need to keep a close eye on Roderick though, after all, we can't have him doing open heart surgery right!? Unless...
Next up you'll head to Two Point County's famous Mudbury Festival. It's been going downhill in past years though due to rumours of people falling into the toilets and dodgy food vans. So now it's your job to look after festival goers and save them from a faeces filled fate!
Lastly, you'll be going to Fitzpocket Academy where Zara's hosting a lovely "little" soiree for all of her celebrity friends, and you're invited too. You'll be there to look after the guests and boost that VIBE, darling! Such a prestigious event attracts a lot of attention, so be on the look out for paparazzi too - they'll do anything to get in, even disguising themselves as patients!
Culture Shock is packed with new content including the most illnesses in any DLC so far! So grab your easel and save the county from an artless future. Two Point Hospital: Culture Shock is available now for 6.99/$8.99/8.99 (prices may vary depending on your region) but we've extended the early adopters discount of 10% for another week!
Fancy Dress Pack
Uniforms are soooo 2018, who wants to see a doctor in a white coat, or an assistant in a shirt and tie? Let's face it, they're uncomfortable and we'd all be better off without them. Wouldn't you feel much more comfortable as a patient to see your doctor in say... a penguin outfit? How about a zombie costume? Yes!? Well thankfully the staff in Two Point Hospital are leading the way with our new Fancy Dress Pack so you can dress up your staff in loads of different outfits!
The Fancy Dress Pack is available now for 3.99/$4.99/4.99 (prices may vary depending on region), and you can download a free costume here too! (Please note, the free costume store page may appear shortly after this post).
Release Notes

Hi everyone,
We're super pleased to announce a new expansion is coming to Two Point Hospital, and PHWOOAAAR is it a big one, with more illnesses than any other DLC so far! We know what you're thinking - "what's it all about?" "where are you taking us this time!?" "will there be Cheesy Gubbins?", never fear, my dears, we'll talk you through it!
Two Point County is having an artistic crisis. The creative world is bereft of ideas. Culture is drying up, and nothing is left but a crusty nubbin and an uninspiring husk.
Fortunately, youre on hand to answer the call of artist-in-residence Zara Fitzpocket, chief guardian of all things arty and the countys very own culture vulture, as she seeks to resuscitate the music scene, the silver screen and all artwork in between, in our brand new DLC Two Point Hospital: Culture Shock, available for pre-purchase now with a juicy 10% discount!
[previewyoutube=IQLgpglB_Pw;full][/previewyoutube]
The situation is so dire that Zara herself (definitely not the writer who writes all of her lines) wrote this letter for you:
For far too long, we have overlooked a sickness in our minds, our homes and our loft-studio work spaces. What may have begun as a collective dry spell has become an all too literal illness. No single remedy, be it dramatic, melodic or medical will be enough. No, we must all work together on my biggest project yet.
With my connections and your uncanny ability to heal things, we must cure the ailing culture of Two Point County. First things firstly, I believe that well be needing a shot in the arm, and who better to administer the injection than a certified healthcare wiz such as yourself?
How could you turn that down!? She called you a certified healthcare wiz after all. No doubt you'll be wanting to know what you're getting yourself into though, so let's take a look:
You'll face televisual shenanigans at Plywood Studios as you look to launch a hit medical drama with washed-up film star Roderick Cushion.
Head to Mudbury Festival and grab lyrical headlines with musical headliners while serving burgers from questionable vans.
...and finally, savour the affluent aromas of high society life at Zaras very own Fitzpocket Academy. Socialise, hobnob, and boost that VIBE darling, because if you dont who will?
The arts need you my friend, join Zara Fitzpocket on her quest to re-ignite the arts in the all new Two Point Hospital Culture Shock DLC featuring:
- 3 fabulous new locations
- 3 new, fully animated cure machines
- 12 new visual illnesses (the most in any DLC so far!)
- 36 new illnesses in total
- New gameplay
- New music, DJ and tannoy lines

[ 2020-07-30 14:37:04 CET ] [ Original post ] - Build a room and save it as a template to use in your other hospitals
Hello dear friends!
We know you have some burning questions about Room Templates - "What are they?" "How do they work?" "Who came up with this GENIUS idea?". Well have no fear, for we have managed to pick the brains of the amazing humans behind this awesome new feature, and most of what you hear is probably even true! Check out what Senior UI/UX Designer, Lauren Woodroffe and Programmer, James Gilby had to say about Room Templates:
What are Room Templates?
Lauren:In short, Room Templatesare your very own room layouts saved so you can place them in any of your other hospitals. This means there's no need to rebuild them every time you start a new hospital!
Who came up with this insanely unique idea?
James:Well firstly, thanks for the compliment, we do think it's an amazing idea. It came to me in a dream (as most of my great ideas do), I was dreaming about the game and imagined a world where being able to save the layout of a room to use in other hospitals was possible. Needless to say, I knew immediately that I had to do everything in my power to make this a reality. I needed another genius though, that's where Lauren came in. Lauren:James does like to mention his dreams in meetings but usually they're all about being chased by giant monobeasts... this was the first time it's actually been useful, so we set out on our journey to bring this completely original, unique, and frankly brilliant idea to life.
Why Room Templates?
James:This is something the community have been keen to have as a feature for some time; we really wanted to prioritise something that we knew they would be excited about, and that both newer and more experienced players could make good use of. Making the perfect room can be time-consuming, we often find a layout and combination of items that works really well and want to replicate that (sometimes even across our other hospitals). This feature should help people focus more on other areas of gameplay rather than spending time rebuilding something they've already built dozens of times before. Lauren:Yeah the community have been asking for something like this for a long time and we're so glad we can bring this quality of life update to the game. Both newcomers and seasoned veterans will be able to put this feature to good use throughout their hospitals. Whether it's to quickly place down rooms to deal with an incoming emergency or because you've found a winning combination of feline wallpaper and dog paintings that must be enjoyed throughout Two Point County!
I thought you just said you had the idea?
Lauren:Well...yeahJames had his dream remember? Dreams are totally random, they're never influenced by real life things, unless he's really been chased by monobeasts? James:That's correct, it came from a dream with absolutely no external influence... I did get chased by a monobeast once too.
Ok... talk us through the process of creating a template.
Lauren:Creating a template is really easy! If you've built a room that you want to save all you have to do is click it to show the info panel on the right, click the new templates tab and add it to your list. It's as simple as that! Now, when you want to build that room again in a different hospital you just open the rooms list, click the templates button in the title bar and you'll see all your saved templates. This will also work for rooms you've previously built, so if you've got that one favourite room of yours, just go into the hospital where it is, click it and save it!
How will this expand the experience for players?
Lauren:It makes building those rooms you'll always need a breeze and allows you to set up a new hospital quickly. Don't spend your time building multiple GP's Offices to diagnose patients when you could spend that time more effectively building plant mazes to "entertain" them. James:Likewise if you've spent a really long time working to make a room look absolutely perfect, with all the gadgets and gizmos in the exact places you want them, you can easily transfer it to your other hospitals, or even use it as a baseline to create a similar room with a few differences.
What sort of room would you make a template for, and what would you put in it?
James:I'd make a template for my world famous maze toilet, it takes quite some time to develop the optimal layout for having the sink as far away from the toilet cubicles as possible to maximise the required walking distance. I like my patients to feel accomplished when they use my lavatories, if it's too easy, is it really worth doing? Lauren:There are so many great uses for templates that it's difficult to choose! I'd probably make a GPs Office template as it's one I use in every hospital. A 3x3 (or 4x3 if I'm feeling generous that day) with refreshments to keep my staff[strike]working longer[/strike]happy, a nice rug and some flying ducks on the wall behind the desk. I find the ducks really tie the whole thing together.
Just one last time... who came up with the idea?
James:As I explained, it was the dream! Lauren:Yes... his dream...
But the community asked for it before you came up with the idea?
James:Absolutely, feedback from our community is of paramount importance to us and helps us shape new and existing features for the game moving forwards. Lauren: We're always listening to our community and looking for ways to improve and build upon Two Point Hospital to make it the best experience it can be. Right... ok well I think we all know who really came up with the idea of Room Templates now (thanks for your feedback everyone!), thanks to James and Lauren for taking the time out to talk to us about Room Templates. This awesome new feature is coming to Steam TOMORROW (30th July), Microsoft Store a little later and console a bit further in the future. We're really excited to see how much this improves your experience in Two Point Hospital, and we can't wait to see what you create! Until tomorrow!

Hello you lovely lot!
Yesterday on our social channels we had fun with a little tease about "something we've been working on", if you weren't there it's ok... but it was probably the biggest thing you missed out on for at least the next two years, I have it on good authority multiple people wee'd a little. So you should probably be following us on Twitter and Facebook to join in with the micro tinkles!
Enough about urine though! It's been a long 24 hours, but today is the day we're announcing something you've been asking for, for quite some time! It's a feature we believe is a massive quality of life improvement, it'll make building your hospitals faster, and hopefully inspire you to put a little more sparkle into your room creations... So without further ado... (imagine some fireworks going off in the background as you read the next bit ok?)
ROOM TEMPLATES ARE COMING TO STEAM ON 30TH JULY!
Yes! That's right, you'll be able to build it, save a template and copy your rooms across to ALL of your hospitals!
So.. What are Room Templates?
Some of you may be thinking "but we can already copy our rooms", but that's just copying the rooms you've built and placing them into the same hospital. Room Templates allow you to create a room, save it as a template and then use it in any and all of your other hospitals. Maybe you spent 300 hours creating the most perfect Staff Room anyone in the world has ever seen, and you'd like your efforts to be appreciated by staff across your entire organisation. Instead of having to remake it all, you can simply save it as a template, place it down in your other hospitals and watch your staff become the happiest they've ever been.
We're really excited for you to have a go with this new feature, we can't wait to see the amazing rooms you'll build and we know your experience in game will only benefit from it! Stay tuned for a more in-depth discussion on how exactly Room Templates will work tomorrow!

Hi everyone,
With the recent release of the Official Two Point Hospital Soundtrack, we thought itd be fun to chat to the masterminds behind it all, so they can tell us all about the music, their processes and how all of this musical stuff actually works! Meet Phil French and Tom Puttick from the legendary Cedar Studios, you may remember them from such videos as Creating the Sound for Two Point Hospital.
THE SOUNDTRACKS JUST BEEN RELEASED ON STEAM AND PEOPLE ARE LOVING IT, HOW DOES THAT FEEL?
Phil: Awesome, strange and relieving. Having to keep the game and soundtrack a secret from our friends for around 2 years before the game was out felt like forever. But its really nice to have it all out in the open and for people to hear the music that 2 blokes wrote and recorded in a small shed. Tom: Its also crazy now its all released, how many tracks are in the soundtrack. So its really nice to know theres a way to listen to them all easily. Hopefully people will find some tracks they might not have stumbled across yet in game!
WHATS YOUR PERSONAL FAVOURITE SONG FROM THE SOUNDTRACK AND WHY?
Phil: I would have to say Come On Over I love the chord changes in there and there is some real geeky music theory stuff happening behind the scenes which we got a real buzz from at the time sad I know. The use of secondary dominants were quite common throughout the soundtrack and there are a load of 13 and diminished chords to give that real jazzy flavour. Also there is the odd key change in a few tracks which you might not even notice because they are so smooooooth. We went through about 4 different versions of that track before it got to where it is now. Tom: Gypsy in the Jungle was a track we did for the Pebberley Island DLC, and I always love how real and clean the lead guitar sounds in that. I think that kind of old Gypsy Jazz style of music is perfect for these sim management type games. Its good to hear chugging away in the background, without being too distracting to take away from the gameplay.
WHAT/WHO WERE YOUR INSPIRATIONS WHEN CREATING THE SOUNDTRACK?
Phil: We wanted something memorable, not annoying and something that wasnt too generic. When we first got the gig, co-founders Mark & Gary wanted an elevator/Muzak style, which fits the background without becoming too distracting. Which I think we did but evolved it a little more to make it a bit more exciting. Tom: Were both big gamers, and were very much inspired by a lot of the games we played growing up as kids too. Im a huge Nintendo fan, and always found their first party games, even their software stores music super catchy. But also it never was too distracting from the experience which I respected. So weve definitely been molded by those composers we grew up with like Kazumi Totaka and David Wise. We grew up playing these kinds of games, and knew there was a level of expectations from people that we didnt want to disappoint. We were fortunate enough to work closely with Russell Shaw who worked on some classics to make sure we were capturing the perfect style to suit the game. We also got to show the game to Adrian Moore too so its pretty crazy we got to work with such a prestigious team and get their approval, seeing as we grew up playing games/listening to their work.
TELL US A BIT ABOUT THE PROCESS YOU GO THROUGH WHEN COMPOSING SONGS FOR A GAME LIKE TWO POINT HOSPITAL.
Phil: Were both guitarists so it naturally starts there for us. First we load up a reference, then start jamming some chords together, one person might have a melody idea so then we record in some guide tracks and start filing it out with other instruments. We love to get as many real instruments in as possible. For example guitar, ukulele and most of the percussion elements in Two Point Hospital are all real instruments. Oh and how can I forget the Polypipes instrument we made specifically for the game! Which is made out of bathroom PVC pipes and can be heard as the main melody on Night Ward. Tom: Theres so many tracks in this game, we also would try and give ourselves weird limitations to help get some varied ideas out. Sometimes wed force ourselves to try and write on the keys rather than the guitar to force us out of our comfort zone and get some interesting results. I think Tiki Hut Party was one of those tracks where we wrote that piano/organ riff first, and built from that key phrase outwards. Its great having each other though, not only can we bounce ideas off each other, theres that extra level of scrutiny when it comes to what sounds good. Sometimes if one of us starts running out of steam on a certain part or idea, the other will be able to see through the fog and keep the momentum up which is great. Especially when youve both been listening to the same section on repeat for most the day.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE INVOLVED IN THE SOUNDTRACK?
Phil: The majority of tracks were Tom and I, but we also had a few collaborations. We had composer/friend of ours Jack Le Breton write two tracks for the soundtrack early on. We all got together at Cedar Studios and went through Jacks compositions to record/arrange them with him to make sure they married up with the Two Point style as we like to call it. Those two catchy numbers were Samba de Medicana and Recover & Regain by the way. Check them out! One of the tracks The Gamble Man, was actually the track we used to pitch to Two Point Studios originally, and we had one of the Cedar crew Tom Keech help us out with that initial track. Tom: And thats just the writing/music side of things, in all honesty we worked really closely with Two Point throughout the whole soundtrack. Some mornings wed sit in a whole office meeting and Mark Webley and Gary Carr would play whole length demos to everyone with us in the room to see what people thought. That was always quite scary. But theres a lot of people involved across the board that got the soundtrack out there/even facilitated it being possible itself! So youd be amiss to not mention every one at Two Point Studios and SEGA who deals with all that too.
JASMINE ODYSSEY IS A BELOVED CHARACTER IN THE GAME, TELL US HOW YOU MANAGED TO BRING SUCH A CHARACTER TO LIFE WITH HER MUSIC.
Phil: It started out as a radio advert in the game we made as a joke inspired by the GTA in car radio adverts, then when the game came out there were comments of people saying they needed the full versions. So we got the all go to make the full versions and started to turn the adverts into full songs. Sophie Worsley was the singer on these tracks and still to this day on her personal youtube videos she still gets comments like I came here for Jasmine Odyssey which I think is just brilliant. Sophie were sorry for that. You guys should really check her music out though, she is awesome! Tom: I knew Sophie Worsley (the singer) as a friend growing up and had been following her career and music for a while. Phil and I were going through our work contacts trying to find someone who not only could sing well, across a large variety of genres, but was also weird enough to think it was a good idea. Sophie was the obvious choice. Her vocals are always spot on, so any genre is on the table. Her versatility teamed up with the Two Point humour/writing is a match made in heaven.
JASMINES SONGS HAVE SOME HILARIOUS LINES, HOW MUCH FUN WAS IT TO WRITE AND RECORD THESE SONGS?
Phil: Harry Puttock, a Writer/Designer at the studio was the mastermind behind the lyrics and we just nudged a few words here and there to make them fit with the tracks. I believe we sent him a demo of the whole track fleshed out and he wrote the lyrics to the tracks from there. Once we had the demos in place we got Sophie to come down to the studio and recorded all the parts. She has a great sense of humour so was absolutely fine with singing the odd lyrics of Nice Smelling Face & Fish Whispers. Tom: Wed send Harry demos of how we imagined his lyrics working with the chords and phrasing, so I believe Harry has some very embarrassing audio clips of me singing early Jasmine Odyssey drafts somewhere in the archives But it was great fun making music that sounds real/convincing using Harrys crazy lyrics. The recording sessions were also pretty surreal. You have someone as spot on vocally, nailing every take like a pro, taking it really seriously, singing the most ridiculous lines over and over again. Getting to show the team the final results of those recording and mix sessions was exciting too, but very much a moment where we were questioning Is this real?.
FINALLY, IF A BUDDING MUSICIAN WAS LOOKING TO GET INTO THE INDUSTRY, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE THEM?
Phil: DONT DO IT! (Im only joking). My advice would be to look for indie companies or friends that may be working on a game and start networking, create new friendships based on the love of games and music, then send some sample tracks over to them! Also, know your stuff. Having knowledge of a recording software such as Logic or Pro Tools is crucial to get anywhere in music nowadays. As it seems the role of a composer nowadays is to be a musician / producer / mixer and mastering engineer all in one. So at least try to have a good understanding and some practice in these subjects! Tom: 100 percent agree with Phil there, Id also add on to the list to download software like Unity and any audio middleware etc. Theyre usually free to download/mess around with, and getting your hands dirty with implementation and how it works is only going to help you in the long term. (You can google almost anything to help you learn nowadays). On a more soppy note, keep passionate about it, play games and write music for fun. The more you play games and music, the more youll learn. In the same way that practising an instrument is important to improve, the same goes for playing games and keeping up with that. A huge thanks to Phil and Tom for taking the time out of their recording schedules to answer these questions, we hope youve found it an interesting and insightful read. Dont forget the Two Point Hospital Soundtrack is available to download now on Steam for 5.99!

Hi everyone! With R.E.M.I.X. V2 releasing soon, we sat down with Designer, Sam Webley and Junior Designer, Jake O'Neill to talk all about R.E.M.I.X!
Hey guys! So let's start this off simple... What is R.E.M.I.X?
Sam: R.E.M.I.X. is a mode in which you will experience simulations of each levelusing the R.E.M.I.X. hospital simulation software developed by Bungle Technologies which will unlock when you have completed all levels in a region. Each R.E.M.I.X. version of a level is re-imagined in more challenging, shorter, and punchier ways that retain the original level theme and identity. This version of the level can also incorporate elements and illnesses seen in other parts of the level's region in order to create a more diverse experience than the original level. All in all, R.E.M.I.X. levels are for when you want a quick but complete Two Point Hospital experience that will see you go through the motions of full level but with fun and interesting twists.
Awesome! How did the general idea of R.E.M.I.X. come about?
Sam:At first the idea was just to make the levels harder or maybe a New Game+ type of thing, but eventually we collectively decided that re-imagining the levels as 1-2 hour shorter experiences would be more desirable to players. We also wanted more artistic license on our world and to make use of all the new features we had developed for the DLCs so that a wider audience can get a taste of them. It's also a lot of fun to make these levels as there aren't any real restrictions on what we can do in them and can get away with more bizarre scenarios and more experimental gameplay.
Talking of experimental gameplay, what's R.E.M.I.X #2 bringing to the party?
Sam: In the first R.E.M.I.X. pack, we were restricted by the fact we could only use rooms and illnesses seen in the first 3 levels; that meant no Marketing, no Research, limited training qualifications, and a general lack in other diagnosis rooms. The main game really branches out in the levels we've selected for R.E.M.I.X V2, so we have many more tools to play around with this time around. Additionally, the first 3 levels are designed to ease the player into the game, while the levels covered in this new R.E.M.I.X. pack are much more themed and challenging, so we can really push these ideas much further. Jake:With R.E.M.I.X. V2 we're mixing up three more levels: Mitton University, Tumble and Flemington. In Mitton, you'll be faced with certain challenges which will unlock plots across the level, to earn the star, you'll need to unlock all of the plots. The idea of this one was to draw focus to research and training and give the player two pathways with which to travel down in order to unlock the final plot to complete the level. Tumble's a good one, too! You'll have a time limit to prepare your hospital for a massive, one-wave horde of patients. It was kind of inspired by zombie games to be honest, the idea that players are given a certain amount of time to prepare their "defences" before they are hit by the wave. Finally, in Flemington you'll be challenged to cure specific illnesses and encouraged to use marketing as a tool to help you. The main idea behind this was to highlight the power of marketing as an effective gameplay tool.
Have you always wanted to remix these levels in particular?
Sam: Mitton is one of my favourite levels in the main game. Fracture wards are really unique, and I also think marketing is a great feature that can open up some fun ways to play. I think these 3 levels are all really nicely themed and open up some great features of the game. These levels were some of the most enjoyed both at the studio and within the community, so I think they make great R.E.M.I.X. candidates.
What did you learn from how people have played these levels already? Do you get much feedback from players on how they play the original levels?
Sam: We get a lot of feedback from the community on all aspects of the game, and it's really important for us to use this when we create new content for players to enjoy. People often tell us they'd like to revisit their favourite levels, and that drives us to make better content and remix these levels in new and imaginative ways. With the original R.E.M.I.X. I think people really enjoyed a very different pace of level. The main levels are all diverse and have different pacing to them, but these R.E.M.I.X. levels are very quick to play and can be completed when you don't have much time to spare. I'm glad that people enjoyed this format and that we didn't opt to go for the same 3-star structure of the main game but more difficult as we were previously thinking.
Let's get hypothetical for a second... If you had to remix a level from someone elses game, what would it be?
Sam: I would like to say something like Super Mario Bros. but previous experience with Super Mario Maker makes me realise I wouldn't do a good job!
Lastly, what can we expect from Remix in the future?
Sam: As we develop R.E.M.I.X. levels for later in the game, we have more illnesses and more rooms to play with. You can definitely expect more challenging and interesting level designs for sure! But I can't go into too much detail of course... you'll have to wait and see. A huge thanks to Sam and Jake for taking some time out of their busy schedules to chat about R.E.M.I.X! We hope you've all enjoyed the read, and we can't wait for you to experience R.E.M.I.X. V2 for yourselves. R.E.M.I.X. V2 is coming to Steam in a Free Update alongside more exciting things on 14th May 2020!

Hi everyone,
We're excited to announce a free update is on its way to Steam next week!
That's right, after seeing some intriguing results from last time, the people at Bungle are at it again with a brand new digital recreation of some more of your favourite hospitals. This time though, instead of branding it as "R.E.M.I.X." they've mixed it up and dubbed it... "R.E.M.I.X. V2"... oh...
For anyone reading right now and thinking "umm...excuse me, what IS this R.E.M.I.X. you're talking of?" here's a little recap, as clearly the rock you've been living under has dampened your senses (or maybe you had other things to do... which is cool too...).
The good people at Bungle previously came up with the idea to create a hospital simulator simulation... or something like that... where you'll complete goals to receive stars. Of course, being digital, these stars don't actually reflect anything tangible, they aren't a standardised rating by a recognised board like the Two Point Health Ministry, they're purely symbolic of progress and an understood practice in video games. Let's face it, now you know about them, you want them, right? Now that they've had some practice, they wanted to put their skills to the test and mix up another three levels to give them a wonderfully fresh spin. The hospitals you'll be playing are:
- Mitton Unitversity
- Tumble
- Flemington

Introducing, Two Point Countys ever-present mayor, Tabitha Windsock: a lady with morals, integrity and, above all, a cloying desperation to stay in office.
The environment is the issue on everyones mind here in Two Point County, and Ms Windsock is willing to fall on the sword of extensive positive press by founding the Department of Green Things.
Support her initiative by taking care of the green-minded, recently-pro-windsock, community. Tabitha needs them in this time of poor voter polling!
Youll face new illnesses, some of them bizarre, even by your standards, and manage new gameplay mechanics on your route to eco-friendly success. We believe in you, and Tabitha does too (sort of).

Have you ever dreamed of running an eco-friendly hospital in a GIANT Eco City!? How about becoming a botany pro, and growing your own food for patients who don't want to eat Cheesey Gubbins? No? Well.. it's quite a specific dream I suppose, but now we've told you, you want to do it right?
Well let us introduce you to our brand spanking new DLC - Two Point Hospital: Off The Grid, where you've been given the opportunity to take the plant based reins of some intriguing hospitals in three new, snazzy locations around Two Point County! We know what you're thinking: "it sounds too good to be true!", "you're pulling my branch", "how did this so-called opportunity arise?", "why are you putting words into my head?" WELL... let's set the scene shall we?
[previewyoutube=m5arzc7z3Ak;full][/previewyoutube]
From furtive whisperings by the camp fire in the remote corners of Wanderoff County Park, to talk on corners in the bustling eco city of Windsock, its fair to say the environment is on everybodys lips. Not just because the air tastes so pure, but because someone has an agenda...
Voters are sure this is the doing of Two Point Countys ever-present mayor, Tabitha Windsock: a lady with morals, integrity and, above all, a cloying desperation to stay in office. The environment is the issue on everyones mind here in Two Point County, and Ms Windsock is willing to fall on the sword of extensive positive press by founding the Department of Green Things.
Never one to miss an opportunity, you are poised to take advantage of this political will by expanding your hospital-building operation to three new parts of the county. Youll face new illnesses, some of them bizarre even by your standards, and will have to manage new gameplay mechanics on your route to hospital-owning success.
We believe in you. Tabitha does too (sort of).
Now of course, we don't want to spoil all of the content for you just yet. So keep an eye on our social channels where we'll be revealing more illnesses, locations and new gameplay features!

We've had a fantastic 2019 and we're really grateful for the support of our amazing community since we launched the game over a year ago. We hope you've enjoyed our many free updates to date, including copy-paste room functionality, complete wall and floor customisation, staff customisation, sandbox mode, The Superbug Initiative and more. Of course, this being the season of goodwill, it would be utterly REMISS of us to not give you a gift to end the year on a high. (We've actually got two gifts... more on that in a minute). First up, we're adding a range of Christmas items for all players, including the wonderful BULGING SACK. Nothing else needed, just boot up and there will be your items in the game. Secondly, did you play The Superbug Initiative this year? If you so may have grabbed some great rewards. We know, however, that not everyone managed to get their hands on them. So we've decided to give them to everyone for free! All you have to do is sign up to Hospital Pass on twopointhospital.com and link your Steam account to receive the WHOLE Season One items bundle along with the Golden Toilet Suite. Ravishing! (Lavishing?) So all that remains is for us to say another huge THANK YOU for a wonderful year in your company, dear community. Please have yourselves a wonderful time over the next couple of weeks and we'll be back with more news in the New Year. Yours lovingly, Two Point Studios

We hope this has helped make your game bigger and better, and we will keep listening to your feedback on Hospital for many more months to come. This is just the beginning! If you like what you see, please do consider firing us a vote.

Your eyes dont deceive you, dear reader. Not only is Two Point Hospital at our biggest discount yet (66%), weve also re-enabled and enhanced a fan fave - Spooooooky Mode is back!
(Apparently 666% wasnt a valid discount)
If you happened to miss out on this frightful delight last year, heres whats in store for a limited time:
9 new spooky tracks
Fright-headedness: a pumpkin-headed variant of Lightheadedness!
A gaggle (whats the collective noun for bats?) of flying bats on some levels
Spooky and mysterious lighting changes across some levels
UI updates to main menu and in game HUD
And, not for the faint-hearted
A frightening selection of replacement spooky decorations:
oA pumpkin has infested the Carnivorous Plant to create a true botanical nightmare
oThe Newsagents' stand has been web-adorned
oWhat's that in the Brain Jar?
oThe Arcade Machine has been cobwebbed
oOrange is most definitely in this season for our beloved Gnome
oThe Pink Bird has been defiled with another pesky pumpkin
oReception has been pimped, haunted house style
oThe Display Skeleton's got a bold new look
oThe Cat-in-the-Box head's looking pretty tasty, too
oPretty much every picture of a dog now has a rather unusual element to it...
oThe Mountain Painting seems to have come to life somewhat
oWhen it comes to the Nurse Station, don't look in the bed pan
oAnd the Ward Bed... whatever you think is under there... it's probably worse.
We cant wait for you to play! Just maybe not right before bedtime, eh? Were not keen on being responsible for any heebie-jeebies.
Spookily and Spoopily,
Two Point Studios

We come in peace! Were delighted to say that today we are launching two brand new addons for Two Point Hospital the Close Encounters DLC and the Retro Items Pack! Close Encounters is our most out-of-this-world DLC yet, featuring a whole new area of Two Point County in the dusty surrounds of Goldpan. Meanwhile, the Retro Items Pack introduces 27 great new items to your hospitals, themed around the past! Time to dust off the gramophone... About Close Encounters Down in the town of Goldpan, rumours persist of an out of this world encounter. A fireball, witnessed streaking above the sandy climes of Two Point Countys Eastern reaches, is chief suspect after a range of unusual illnesses have caused strife, commotion and general unrest amongst the inhabitants of this oft-forgotten town. As an all-round medical supremo with a knack for tackling the unreal, your administration has operational access to some key locations in the area including some areas the public really dont need to know about. The Two Point Squabbler, the Countys finest journalistic institution, wants to know whats going on and youre their ticket in. Whats included? 3 mysterious new locations 3 new, fully animated cure machines 11 new visual illnesses 34 new illnesses in total New gameplay New music, DJ and tannoy lines New Hospitals Take in the unredacted sights of Goldpan, followed by a top security trip to the ever-so-quaint Camoflage Falls, a town that most definitely does exist! Beyond that? Well were talking pure conspiracy and pure intrigue. Harrison Wolff, Two Point Countys finest radio DJ, has oft speculated of another hidden location, with late-night meandering ramblings about a place called Chasm 24. Are his fears of robots walking the corridors just baloney? Or is he truly the sanest of us all? New Illnesses 34 new illnesses have afflicted the denizens of this area of Two Point County, with some of the most serious of all including: Lack of Humanity Flat-Packed Frogborne Science Friction Highly Ill-Suited Aller-Gs and plenty more! New Items (Included for free with DLC, but separate to The Retro Items Pack) Of course, it wouldnt be a new area of Two Point County without a new series of delightful corridor-based accoutrements. Place the finest trappings of inter-planetary society in your hospitals and make them look truly otherworldly. You can get 10% off the Close Encounters DLC as an Early Adopter bonus until September 5th. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1096580/Two_Point_Hospital_Close_Encounters/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/1035020/Two_Point_Hospital_Retro_Items_Pack/

Hello everyone! Its been almost a year since Two Point Hospital released and weve been blown away with our community support. So, you guessed it, were nowhere near done with updating it yet! With Gamescom just around the corner, we thought now would be an opportune time to share update 1.16 with you. Weve got loads of exciting plans for Two Point Hospital (a very busy roadmap of great stuff, in fact!) and we cant wait to share more with you very soon. Make sure you stay turned to our social channels for more on that. Until then, however, we have a cool update for you here which brings some nice tweaks to the staff menu UI. Were also enabling text search in the items list to make it easier to find items you own, and ones youve downloaded from Workshop. There are a few other minor fixes, too. Full list here:
- Update to the staff menu UI
- Allow text search in the items menu to make it easier to find items
- Bug fixes for 1.15
- Fix timezone-related crash on startup, which affected some machines with Eastern locales (e.g. Korean, Chinese)
- Fix random crash on some machines caused by use of a previously-experimental graphics multithreading setting
- Fix other very rare instances of crashes in Unity engine
- Reduce framerate spikes when creating new characters and parts of GUI during gameplay

Good afternoon, Dear Scrubs,
Right here, right now, were announcing a brand spanking new feature that we'll be rolling out in Two Point Hospital. This new mode will see you collaborating with your friends, and with others across the globe, to complete challenges and unlock whole new in-game rewards. Its called... The Superbug Initiative.
This feature will be available right away, in beta mode, if youve achieved One Star in Mitton University in the game. You opt in to the beta by following the instructions further down the page.
In addition, were adding a new feature allowing you to add your own music to the game! IKR?! Many of you have been asking for the ability to do this and - in true Two Point Studios style - we've listened. Read on for more details on that at the end of the blog.
In a rush for the lowdown on The Superbug Initiative? You can check out the trailer right here! Else, read on for more juicy details (and if you can guess which team member voices the trailer, you will earn our respect forever more).
https://youtu.be/I91t1fLMf90
As we mentioned, take part in The Superbug Initiative and youll be able to get your hands on some rad rewards, which well keep updating in future as we add more challenges to the game. Heres just one example, The Ectovat!
This high-tech piece of Bungle equipment is designed to function as a repository for the goo of the dead, technically known by all ghost-catching aficionados as ectoplasm. Fill the tank up, and staff can tap into it to bolster their energy reserves. Patients too can top up their health! Its a brilliant way of making the dead do something useful for once.
Here's how one of the group projects looks in action. Here you can see a few of us working together to crack the Learning Machine Learning challenge. Were each performing objectives and are working together to complete nodes, which is nudging us ever-closer to some sumptuous in-game rewards.
Were pleased to say that all willing test subjects can get hands on with this feature immediately by following the below simple set of instructions.
If youd rather wait, were hoping to publicly release the final version if The Superbug Initiative in just a couple of weeks!
If youd like to dive right in, please do!
1.Right click on Two Point Hospital in your Steam library.
2.Click on properties.
3.Click on the BETAS tab.
4.Select twopointhospital_patch_beta from the drop-down list.
This will then update your game to enable The Superbug Initiative. You should receive a letter which will introduce the feature!
As mentioned earlier in the blog, were also adding the ability for you to add custom music to the game! Youll be able to add your own songs and hear them mixed with the dulcet tones of our resident Two Point County DJs.
To access this feature, you simply need to click Audio under the Settings menu, then click Edit under Music List youll get something that looks like this! Here you can toggle existing tracks but also add you own new ones by clicking the + button.
Enjoy, and be sure to leave us feedback on the Steam Forums and via our brand spanking new Two Point Studios Discord: https://discord.gg/VHMJfN7. Were just starting out with this channel, so you can be a part of its future today! More updates to come on that soon.
We hope you have a great time and really enjoy this feature as much as we have enjoyed making it. GO CHANGE THE FACE OF HEALTHCARE IN TWO POINT COUNTY, SCRUBS! We believe in you!
Much love
Team Two Point

Ahhhh... everyone's favourite day of the week - Tunesday!
Ben Huskins, Lead Designer:
Matt Berry - Television Themes - Rainbow
Mainly because Lauran won't let me put any Corduroy on this list, and as a little bit of Two Point trivia - did you know Gary Carr worked on Rainbow? True story!
Prem Fatek, Artist:
The Oral Cigarettes - Color Tokyo
Lauren Woodroffe, UI Artistt:
Move - Saint Motel
Talk Too Much - COIN
Rich Brooks, Coder:
Interpol - Pace Is The Trick
Manic Street Preachers - Ocean Spray
Muse - Get Up And Fight
Ben Hymers, Lead Coder:
The Zutons! All 3 albums! On repeat! But I'll pick just one track; You've Got a Friend in Me - creepy lyrics, but lovely tune that just feels nice in my ears :)
Gary Carr, Creative Director:
What about ya boy T-Pain with By U a Drank :)
Jake O'Neill, QA Tester:
Looking Glass - Brandy
Cheap Trick - Surrender
Kansas - Carry on My Wayward Son
The Outfield - Your Love
Toto - Stop Loving You
Mark Smart, Lead Artist:
Sparks - So Tell Me Mrs Lincoln Aside From That How Was The Play
Could have chosen any track of their last album. Chose this because of the title. As a nine year old I was transfixed by the look of the Mael Brothers. Ron with his, lets call it Charlie Chaplin moustache, staring impassively from behind his keyboards, Russel with a great head of curly hair bouncing hyperactively around in the front. Really only recognised for one tune, but theyve consistently made great music since the early 70s.er not that I remember.
Johnny Moped Running Scared
Belter from The lads third album. Three albums in 40 years is hardly prolific. Mind you surprised they made them. Croydons proto punks have always been a bit chaotic. (boasting Captain Sensible of the Damned and Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders in previous line ups) About to play one of their biggest gigs, Johnny hadnt turned up, fifteen minutes before they were due to go on, they found him. Queuing up to get into his own gig.
The Stranglers Down In The Sewer
Chosen only because I saw them again for the umpteenth time recently, and this is one of my favourites live (its a bit prog/punk as well)
We've set up a Two point Radio Specific Spotify Channel now, where you will find our older and brand new playlists. You can find the 2019 playlist here!: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4jycpaF6TYJ38nIXI8kezv

Bon Voyage, Scrubs! It's time to dig out your travelling trunk, pack up your stethoscope, neatly fold away your doctors coat and slap on some sunscreen, because we're headed to Pebberley Island!
You can pre-order our brand new DLC, with a luscious 10% off, now!
https://youtu.be/anB8_Sa3LG4
It's been a little while since our last DLC, Bigfoot, hit the ground running with its enormous hairy feet, so we thought it was about time we visited a part of Two Point County that's a little less polar - because who doesn't enjoy a holiday to warmer climes?! Plus, we've been looking for an excuse to couple Bermuda shorts with our serious Doctor's attire for AGES now.
There's a rumour that the secret to eternal life exists somewhere on the Island. I just hope that the death-defying water doesn't taste like something that's been sitting stagnant for ages because I drank some really old water once and it made me gag.
Aaaaanyways, in Two Point Hospital: Pebberley Island you'll be joining intrepid explorer Wiggy Silverbottom in an exciting new adventure through the tropics. I don't want to say Wiggy's eccentric, but he is a real stickler for cleanliness, so you better make sure your Janitors work their socks and sandals off to banish the germs from your General Diagnostic rooms and everywhere else, frankly. You'll be faced with some utterly overgrown landscape and some brand new illnesses.
Let's have a look at what you can expect:
Pebberley Reef:
This Hospital site sits on the majestic coastline, waves lap the shore nearby and the forest exists just out of reach, but probably close enough to attract insects. Youll arrive to discover you can only hire janitors with absolutely no experience whatsoever so err good luck with that. Oh - and watch out for the totally unpredictable weather. Pebberley Reef is somewhat of a microcosm, might be worth getting a pair of those rubber souled shoes to make sure you're grounded at all times.
Overgrowth:
I don't want to go as far as to say the plants are watching you and paying attention to how you run your hospital but they kind of are. In fact they're not only watching, but they're also judging you. Please the trees to gain ground in the jungle and expand your hospital. Guys I think they're listening, quick - act Philanthrop-y *ahem* I, for one, welcome Overgrowth Overlords.
Topless Mountain:
Having visited the Pointy Mountains in the snowy North of Two Point County, you'll likely be shocked at just how flat a mountain can be. I mean really, these elevations are flat enough to build Hospitals on! Build up some cash and kudosh and tropic like it's hot - which it will be - to build some altitudinous healthcare constructions and assist the most sickly traveller.
Wiggy will busy himself with excavating the surrounding area, which is likely to attract hordes of sight seers. Literal hordes. Prepare for waves of sickly tourists as things get pretty crazy. As long as you keep palm and carry on you'll be just fiiiine.
In addition to these new locations, you'll enjoy a plethora of new illnesses, including:
Blank Look - The sufferers facial features have receded out of existence and must be coaxed back with subtle, hydraulic machinery. NOT REALLY! Watch aghast as sufferers faces are quite literally stamped back on to their heads. Harrowing.
Wanderust - Prolonged feelings of sameness have led to dull, tedious pain and a craving for adventure. The sufferers tendency to search for relief in highly precarious, unimaginative activities mean that they pose a great risk to themselves and others and you, Dear Administrator, can be the one to put all of this right.
Screwball - Recurrent bafflement has caused a build-up of extremely dense negative feelings. The heavy head must be removed and replaced by a lighter, happier head before it's too late.
TL:DR? Two Point Hospital: Pebberley Island launches on 18th March, and you can get 10% off if you pre-order now!
I'm off for a Margarita. Adios, Beaches!

Calling all Scrubs - Two Point Hospital requires your artistic flair!
For the next week (starting today at 3pm and running until Monday 4th March at 3pm) we're going to be running our Open Art Surgery Competition! We want to see your art or artist inspired Interior Designer items. You can be as abstract or traditional as you like, your hospital is your canvass, but your creations must be art or artist themed.
There will be 2 runners up and one overall winner. Our runners up will win a coveted Two Point Hospital t-shirt, whilst our 1st place winner will get a code for our Bigfoot DLC and a Two Point Hospital t-shirt to boot! If you come in first place and already have the Bigfoot DLC we will find an alternative and fitting reward.
Be it a Starry Night in Hogsport or a Sunday Afternoon in Grockle Bay, let your imagination run away with itself. After all, Venus had to be born somewhere and even The Girl with a Pearl Earring had to go to a medical professional at some point... probably.
All you have to do to enter is follow these steps:
1) Get up to speed with the terms and conditions: www.sega.co.uk/sega_prize_draw_terms_and_conditions_nps
2) Create your artistic marvel using Two Point Hospital's Interior Designer Function
3) Publish it to Steam Workshop and share on Twitter, using the hashtag #TPHOpenArtSurgery, or post your entry in the comments of our Facebook announcement of the competition.
4) Sit back and await the glory that may or may not come from being chosen as one of our top 3 entrants!
Good luck! We look forward to seeing what visual delights you come up with!

Continuing our Steam Workshop Interior Designer feature, let us bring to your attention the classiest bundle of flooring we've EVER SEEN! And you can trust us... we've seen at least 5 by this point.
Amoebae has succeeded in creating beautiful flooring that would impress the most hoity, and indeed toity, VIP. There is not a scrap of kardean to be found in this hospital - only genuine polished planks grace the floors - which will no doubt make your doctors feel like they're performing medical miracles in style!

Another fortnight has passed, and therefore it's officially another Tunesday! Get these right in your ear holes! Like what you hear? Let us know who's music taste is most in tune with yours in the comments below!
Chris Knott, Lead Animator:
Yuksek - Showbiz - purple disco machine edit.
Earth Wind and Fire - Shining Star.
Pertubator - Future Club.
Dave Oxford, Artist
I recently watched the Blackkklansman and liked the soundtrack. The track Blut Und Boden (Blood and Soil) captures the flavour of the film really well, I thought.
Well worth a watch and listen.
Prem Fatek, Artist:
One lil energy boost
Snake man by RichaadEB
And one intense orchestra song (except the original is not on spotify >:( , so have a base filled cover of it )
D.V.M.N(From "devilman crybaby") by falkkone
Rich Brooks, Coder:
White Lies - Ritual - Bigger Than Us
White Lies just released an album called Five, that seems pretty cool. But the first couple album are still their best imho. This one is from Ritual and is typical of their sound. Love it!
Radiohead - The Butcher EP - The Butcher
The is an obscure Radiohead track, released as an extra for those that bought King of Limbs from their website. It's definitely a big out there, but if you're not tapping your foot or nodding your head by the end of it, then there's something wrong with you.
Gomez - Bring It On - Whippin' Piccadilly
Classic band. Classic song.
Lauran Carter, Community Manager:
MegaRan - Splash Woman.
A whole song about the first ever female boss to appear in Mega Man? Yes. Please.
Also, I've very much still on the Mac Miller train. It's been a full month of Mac for me now, and I have no intention of moving on. I won't add another track to the playlist, but do go and listen to more if you feel so inclined. I love him. I am sad.
Craig Laycock, Brand Manager:
When Nik Kershaw wrote The Riddle he succeeded in creating the most confusing banger in pop history. Take the lyrics, Near a tree by a river, theres a hole in the ground/ Where the Old Man of Aran goes around and around. Ive done some research and I can confirm the whole premise is absolute tripe. Tripe that I cant stop listening to and that Im now inflicting to ruin your day, and this playlist. Damn your songwriting hands, Nik Kershaw!
Ben Hymers, Lead Coder:
This week I have just had my big playlist on shuffle. The shuffle gods have chosen this song more often than all the other songs: Les Fleur, by 4hero. It's a lovely tune :)
Mark Webley, Director:
I've been listening to Gorillaz: The Now Now pretty bloody excellent.
*editors note - I've chosen the first track so as not to bombard you with Gorillaz!*
Gary Carr, Creative Director:
Adolescent Sex - Japan
Up Around The Bend - Hanoi Rocks
Harry Puttock:
Tokyo -Brockhampton
Your Dog - Soccer Mommy
Vibrant - Brasstracks
We've set up a Two point Radio Specific Spotify Channel now, where you will find our older and brand new playlists. You can find the 2019 playlist here!: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4jycpaF6TYJ38nIXI8kezv

- Fixed issue with UGC (User-generated content) room items not being unlocked in sandbox when "All Unlocked" option is turned on
- Fixed issue with selection area rotation in UGC image picker
- Fixed issue with Workshop sandbox saves not updating level Kudosh
- Fixed issue with incorrect message dialogues appearing when loading UGC sandbox saves
- Fixed issue causing black textures when deleting local UGC

Go wild with your own custom designs with the free Interior Designer update for Two Point Hospital!
Stop us when this sounds familiar - you're happily beavering away on your world class Health Care Empire when you catch yourself thinking "I wish I could put my mate's face on a rug". Don't worry, we've all been there, your mate does have an excellent face after all - which is (a very small) part of the reason we're bringing Interior Designer to Two Point Hospital!
From this point forth, your rugs, pictures, floors and walls in Two Point Hospital can be entirely of your own design - and it's super simple too!
To create your own floors and walls all you need to do is head to the room you want to change, click 'customise' and then tap on the Steam icon and the 'wall and floor' option should appear. Then it's simply a case of choosing which pattern or image you'd like to use and importing it. Remember - the image you choose will be repeated to cover the whole wall or floor so try and choose something that tiles nicely. Or don't. This is YOUR Hospital, after all, and you are free to make it look as nauseating as you like! TESSELLATION BE DAMNED! *ahem* sorry about that.
For pictures and rugs, it's a slightly different process but still as easy as catching a cold in a hospital - just head to the item menu and look for that cute little steam icon again. This will give you all the size and shape options for both the rugs and pictures, and then you just need to import your chosen image.
https://youtu.be/5YTN9UQiHC4
Invaluable for labelling up the different wings of your hospital, this first workshop iteration is going to add a plethora of customisation to Two Point Hospital. How about a rug adorned with the words 'Gross Body Fluids' for your lab? Or you could remind your patients and staff just how lucky they are to have such a caring Hospital Administrator by putting your own mug on a rug and placing it in every room. Oh let's just throw caution to the wind, shall we? - Place those rugs MULTIPLE times in every room.
Wondering what the recommended image sizes are? We got you, fam:
Here's some other things you could try out:
- Wallpaper made entirely of meat. Yum?
- The floor is lava! Not really, but you could totally make it look that way
- Your cat, on canvas, in a psychiatry room. Mmmm, calming.
- Two Point Creative Director Gary Carr flooring. That's right: Gary Carr-pet.
- Go to a real hospital, take photos of everything and plaster it all over your own hospital... wait, is that allowed? We're not sure. Maybe don't do that.
The game is currently 20% off in the Steam Lunar Sale too, so if you haven't yet indulged your inner Hospital Administrator now is definitely the time!
TLDR: The free Interior Design update is AVAILABLE NOW for Two Point Hospital, here's a handy How To video.

We're back with some brand new additions to the Two Point Radio playlist! We've been insanely busy for the last couple of weeks getting some exciting new updates ready for you, so busy, in fact, that I wasn't even able to get tracks out of every team member. So this update is small but perfectly formed.
Chris Knott, Lead Animator:
Classics.
I Walk Alone Haji & Emanuel Dub Those Guys
Lazy ( Feat David Byrne ) Extended Version Xpress 2
Prem Fatek, Artist:
For efficient visual work:
To the moon and back by Savage Garden
Move your feet by Junior Senior
Little lies by Fleetwood Mac
Knights of Cydonia by Muse
Lauran Carter, Community Manager:
Do The Bartman, Bart Simpson: Seriously, I've listened to this about 15 times this week alone and it holds up, I swear!
Craig Laycock, Brand Manager:
This Love, Maroon 5: I recently heard that Adam was poorly... or did I? I think I did. Anyway, Lauran and I worked late whilst this blasted out of some tinny speakers, so here we are.
Ben Hymers, Lead Coder:
This week I have listened to tons of Presidents of the USA for nostalgia's sake! Too many to stick on the playlist, so I'll pick one randomly: Back Porch. It's just fun :)
I've also been more than a bit obsessed with Eels - Flyswatter. Super cool melody.
Gary Carr, Creative Director:
Bentley Rhythm Ace, Bentley's Gonna Sort You Out
We've set up a Two point Radio Specific Spotify Channel now, where you will find our older and brand new playlists. You can find the 2019 playlist here![open.spotify.com] And if you're interested, you can find our 2018 playlist here![open.spotify.com]

Afternoon Scrubs!
Some of you may remember that last year we started sharing some of the tracks we'd been listening to in the studio whilst we made Two Point Hospital. I'm sure you're all aware that we're all still hard at work on updates for Two Point Hospital and *ahem* other bits and pieces *ahem*, so we've decided to bring the playlist back because... well... basically we just really like music and we want an excuse to share and talk about it. So here we are! Thanks for joining us for the ride!
Here's our additions for this up date to Two Point Radio, Music To Make Games To, 2019!
Mark Smart, Lead Artist:
The Good, The Bad and The Queen The Truce Of Twilight
The Super Group follow their last 2007 album a mere eleven years later. On this track a shuffling dub bass and equally shuffling lyrics, think a grey Winters day at almost any forgotten seaside town. The Album is darker and more world weary than its predecessor. It all holds together though and paints a snapshot, of the state of the nation. The UK rather than the US.
Ginger Crouton - The Soronprfbs & Stephen Rennicks
Taken from the soundtrack of the film Frank If you like films about music and eccentricity, this is the film for you. A beautifully put together film/OST a funny, touching examination of the nature of creativity. The lead role (and lead vocals) are performed from under a large paper mch head, he being perhaps a future candidate for the role of James Bond. I wont give it away but its easy to find out.
Chris Knott, Lead Animator:
Post Malone - Wow
Cold drink, hot girl - Jody Wisternoff
Jayne Webley, Office Manager:
There Goes the Fear - Doves
She's a Mystery to Me - Roy Orbison
Anyone Else But You - The Moldy Peaches
Rich Brooks, Coder:
Creature Comforts - Arcade Fire
The Arcade Fire and just awesome, and need no explanation. Although, with that many musicians in the band, they'd better be awesome...
Mile Deep Hollow - (Single Rework) - IAMX
This guy is a bit over the top. Full on androgenous, dark sound, egotistical, fashion performances, if that even makes sense. Sure, it's a bit artsy-fartsy, but for some reason I really like his stuff. I think we all have a secret love of electro-rock. The new single rework is a way better mix than the album version, imho.
The Left Side - The Music
Classic Indie-Rock from my time a university. This was cranked out last week and will do every now again for years to come.
Prem Fatek, Artist:
What's Up Danger, Into The Spiderverse OST - known for the awesome scene where Miles starts swinging.
Lovin' every minute of it, Loverboy - what a mood improver!
Square Hammer, Ghost - A little hypnotic
The Ecstasy of Gold, Ennio Morricone - aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Lauran Carter, Community Manager:
To be honest, I'm annoyed because Prem got to What's Up Danger before I did :/ so in it's stead...
Ladders, Mac Miller - I'm the idiot who JUST got into Mac Miller and I am now experiencing utter heartbreak and absolute adoration all at once. Stick with it, seek out more, he's amazing.
Better Now, Post Malone - discovered via Spider-Verse. It's a tune.
Last Lion of Albion, Neko Case - I just can't not love this song :')
Ben Hymers, Lead Coder:
I've been giggling to Richard Cheese a lot recently :) Particularly:
Creep, Richard Cheese
Welcome to the Jungle, Richard Cheese
Gary Carr, Creative Director:
The Deconstruction, Eels
Spirit of Radio, Rush
Back on the Chain Gang, Morissey
Craig Laycock, Brand Manager:
Craig didn't get back to us in time because he was too busy playing around in Two Point Hospital's Interior Designer. **Interior Designer, coming soon!**
We've set up a Two point Radio Specific Spotify Channel now, where you will find our older and brand new playlists. You can find the 2019 playlist here! And if you're interested, you can find our 2018 playlist here!

Were releasing our first paid content for Two Point Hospital! Experience a frosty new region, featuring three new hospitals, a range of new illnesses and a range of new items.
Watch the trailer here!
So whats included?
Three new hospitals: Underlook Hotel, Swelbard and Roquefort Castle.
A bunch of new visual illnesses.
A range of exciting new items to place in your hospital.
Tell me more!
Have you ever heard of Two Point Countys Pointy Mountain region? Have you ever heard of the disgruntled residents of the Pointy Mountain region? No? Well thats probably what theyre disgruntled about. This cold and spiky region of Two Point County is home to the once great Underlook Hotel which has fallen from grace is now nothing more than a hotbed for bad reviews and diminishing profits. A medical budget has been set up to *hopefully* salvage the Hotels reputation and avoid any further lawsuits.
Medical advancement in the Pointy Mountain region has fallen behind somewhat, and now they desperately need help to ensure the residents are getting the medical attention they deserve. You yes you, Hospital Administrator are the best in the business. The right honourable Bartholomew F Yeti has heard nothing but great things about the work youve done for the good people of Two Point County, and has requested YOUR assistance to get the folk of the Pointy Mountain region back on their big feet again.
As well as The Underlook Hotel, youll be whisked away to two other Two Point County locations that are bound to delight and amaze:
Swelbard is the most remote town in all of Two Point County so make sure you strap on those snow boots and wrap up warm! Oh and be prepared for an uphill struggle convincing any talented staff members to come and work there sounds like youll need to get some training on the go pretty sharpish.
Then make your way to the historical bolthole that is Roquefort Castle well, actually its one of many Roquefort Castles but were sure theyre all super holey. Built by the great Roquefort family and loaned to you to set up a hospital, welcome your staff and patients to an institution with history! OK, so its a little drafty, and really badly laid out and haunted but other than that its a delightful-and-not-in-anyway-unsuitable for a medical practice. HAVE FUN!
As well as some thrilling new locations, youll find some equally alarming ailments that the good people of Two Point County have managed to contract, we wont ask how, such as:
Barking Mad get all four of those legs to the doghouse before the patient cocks one!
Eye Candy giving eyes bigger than belly a whole new meaning!
Bard Flu - Alas, poor resident of Two Point County. We kneweth him well.
Well also chuck in some seasonal decorations go on, youve earned them
So let us reiterate the exciting news
Two Point Hospitals very first DLC is available now containing three new hospitals, many new illnesses, new cure machines and a fresh new challenge! All you have to do is one star the hospital in Flemington to access the DLC!Buy it right now, right here:

Hi everyone,
We have been working on Sandbox mode, and we are really excited to share the first version! We wanted to get it out to you as soon as we could, and we will continue to update and improve it. So please us know of any feedback that you have :) You can now also choose if rooms are for diagnosis or treatment, and a few other bits and bobs (see below for details!)
You can read a bit more about sandbox mode in Lauran's blog post here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/535930/discussions/0/1735468693696177534/
- Sandbox: Freeplay will unlock after getting 1 star in Flottering. If you've already got 1 star in Flottering then load your career and Sandbox will become available. You can then access it from the main menu.
- Ability to specify diagnosis or treatment for rooms that can handle both (Ward, Psychiatry and DNA). To do this select the room, and on the room UI you will now see 'Diagnosis' and 'Treatment' buttons. These allow you to toggle the options.
- Added visual effect for projector in Training Room
- All staff and any patients who are leaving the hospital are not initially infected by Epidemics
- Fixed issue with staff resigning after already having been fired
- Fix issue where key bindings were not always being saved
- Various bug fixes and optimisations
[ 2018-10-29 17:08:33 CET ] [ Original post ]
You asked for it, weve prescribed it! Two Point Hospital Sandbox: Freeplay is coming soon!
Never let it be said that Two Point Studios isnt listening to its audience! Over the last couple of months weve seen many of you asking for a free play mode, and today we are excited to announce that YOU GOT IT, SCRUBS! Were totally doing it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyRV3sylke0&feature=youtu.be
So what is Sandbox: Freeplay? Essentially, its Two Point Hospital your way. All youll need to do is play through the first 3 levels of the game to unlock it, then you can create sandbox hospitals in any of the 15 levels available in the game!
Whether youre a malevolent god or a beneficent sky being, use your unlimited cash and Kudosh to affect everything within your sandbox hospitals. Dont want any epidemics? Turn em off! Dont want to see any queues ruining the aesthetic of your perfectly designed Healthcare Empire? BAN THEM! And, to continue our recent customisation theme, you can also rename any of your hospitals to whatever you like! Sweary Medical Institution names incoming, were sure
If you havent visited Two Point County recently, you may have missed our totally spoopy Spooky Mode. Pumpkin heads roam the halls to some brand new creepy music and you should definitely plan to visit before its too laaaaaaate! Spooky Mode will be available until just after Halloween.
Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter channels to be kept up to date on when you can expect Sandbox: Freeplay to appear in game and whilst youre at it feel free to come and tell us how happy you are that this feature is making an appearance! Well be humble, I promise.
Much love!
Lauran

Hi Scrubs!
Ever wanted to rename your staff and patients in Two Point Hospital? Well want no more, Darlings, because we’re making that a reality in the new Customisation Update!
Not only that, you’ll be able to adjust the look of your staff uniforms. Useful if you’re a fancy-pants fashion designer, yes, but just as useful if you like categorising your staff into different areas of work. Now you’ll be able to see at a glance who your Ghost Catchers are, or who is best at front desk and who should be manning the marketing department.
We’ve added a variety of tasteful trims inspired by the latest fashions from Paris, New York and Farnham – with additional delightful designs unlockable with Kudosh.
The customisation update follows hot on the heels of our recent “copy & paste rooms” feature update, underlining our commitment to adding community-requested features to the game. Stay tuned to our social media channels for more information on updates in the coming weeks and months.
We've given access to the new features to a select group of Streamers ahead of you all getting your hands on it, so if you're curious to see what's coming head over to Blarla or Jonti from Geekism's live streams (or get in contact for a full list of streamers with access to the new update!) - and keep an eye out tomorrow for news on when you can expect to be able to download the public beta!
Much love from all of us at Two Point! <3
Lauran
If you’d like to test out the new patch, you can download it by following these steps:
1. Right-click Two Point Hospital in your game library and select Properties.
2. Select the BETAS tab.
3. Choose twopointhospital_patch_beta from the drop-down menu.
4. The build will start downloading.

If you do happen to stumble across any bugs, could I ask that you report them in this thread so we can easily collate them and send them to the devs.

Hello Scrubs!
I'm afraid it's me, Craig, on posting duty today as the mighty Lauran is away in Germany working her butt off at Gamescom in Cologne.
Meanwhile I've got a little bit of news to update you on and a quick tip for those of you who are keen to figure out how to get your hands on the Golden Toilet.
So, first things first: news!
* Two Point Hospital will be available to pre-load on August 28th
* We're extending the 10% discount to September 5th
Why? Well we're really keen to ensure you can play the game right away on the second of release, so, thanks to your feedback, we're letting you pre-load in order to allow that to happen.
Secondly, we're really keen for everyone to have a chance to decide what they think of the game before committing to buy it - so if the live streams and Let's Plays aren't enough, you'll be able to consume a wealth of community coverage AND still get your 10% discount right up to September 5th.
Next up... the Golden Toilet
A few people have been asking us how they can get their hands on the Golden Toilet. Just to be clear, you do not have to pre-order to get it. If you've signed up to Hospital Pass at www.twopointhospital.com, you'll get the Golden Toilet for free. No strings attached!
You'll also get rad emails when we're about to announce stuff, like we did today, and you'll be able to access special videos on the website too.
Check out our streams!
Finally, if you haven't seen much of Two Point Hospital being played live yet, then you should totally watch our streams! We've been doing these on the SEGA Twitch, but you can find an archive of them at www.youtube.com/twopointhospital - just look for "Past Live Streams".
We've got everything from the first 1.5 hours of the game right through to the crazy industrial levels of Smogley and Melt Downs.
Thanks for reading! Catch you later :)

Afternoon, Scrubs!
It's been a little while since I added some badass choons to our playlist, so here I am with another update!
As I'm sure you're all aware, our launch date is speeding towards us so not every request for playlist additions is answered - and I'm totally OK with that, the team have far more important things to do than answer my emails asking for music ;), but as such you may find that this is a shorter playlist addition than usual!
Let's get to it!:
Chris Knott, Lead Animator:
Too Many Zooz - Warriors
Galantis - Satisfied
Black Label Society - Trampled Down Below
Gary Carr, Founder:
Therapy - Screamager
L7 - Pretend We're Dead
These are summer holiday songs to me! I may not be on holiday, but it is summer!
Rich Brooks, Coder:
Foster The People - Torches - Don't Stop
Foster The People - Sacred Hearts Club - Doing It for the Money
OneRepublic - Oh My My - Kids
OneRepublic - Native - Life In Color
I love Foster the People. They're brilliant live and have similarities to OneRepublic. They're quite 'pop', but that's not always a bad thing :). And they both have great lead singers.
Mark Smart, Lead Artist
Chilled list this month, to try and combat the stress of landing a game.
Miserable Strangers – King Creosote
From the soundtrack From Scotland With Love. What a beautiful tune. Not as miserable as you may think. Has a lovely uplifting refrain at the end. See also Desperadoes Under The Eaves by Warren Zevon.
Ramblin’ Man – Lemon Jelly
No not blues, as the title would kind of suggest. A magnificent list of all the places the “Ramblin’ Man” has been to, over a sublime laid back groove track. The way the places are announced gives a real exotic feel to them, Kentish Town and Sudbury included.
Lauran Carter, Community Manager:
Elbow, Mirrorball
My brother got married last week and this was their first dance. I still can't listen to it without crying happy tears :')

Good Afternoon Scrubs!
Ahead of a special guest appearance that Tom and Phil will be making tomorrow on our live stream, we thought it would be the perfect time to introduce you to these fine fellows. The guys don't work alongside us in the studio, they have their own little hideaway where they busy themselves with everything they need to do to make Two Point sound fantastic! And they're doing a helluva job, I'm sure you'll agree!
LET'S GET TO KNOW TOM AND PHIL! WOOOO!
How long have you been in the games industry?
Tom: Working professionally.. about 3 years?
Phil: 3 learning curve filled years!
First game you worked on?
Tom: 'The Sexy Brutale' (made by the great guys down at Cavalier) was our first project together.
Phil: We also did some work on a smaller game called 'Upwards Lonely Robot' around that time too..
Fave game to play at home?
Phil: 'Don't Starve'.. i've been pretty obsessed with it since it coming out on the switch..
Tom: I wish it was 'Animal Crossing' for the switch, but currently I’ve been playing ‘Sea Of Thieves’ with Sam (from TwoPoint) and trying to convince him to not shoot every pirate we see..
Fave little person game?
Phil: 'Rollercoaster Tycoon 1', so many childhood memories… sacrilege I know.
Tom: My sister and I were obsessed with ‘Theme Park’, but we were the weird kids who played it on the PS1 rather than PC.
When you’re not slogging away at Two Point Studio, where can you be found?
Phil: Probably playing a guitar or piano or trying to make a sound out of something??
Tom: What Phil actually means is running around fighting gyms in ‘Pokemon Go’! He’s started going off for walks by himself on lunch breaks..
What’s your party trick?
Phil: I have got very pointy ballet feet which is quite amusing to some…
Tom: My party trick is pointing out how weird Phil’s feet are.
Now, the quick fire round! Answer these as quick as you can!
If you could buy ANY kind of food RIGHT NOW what would it be?
Phil: Mars Ice cream bar.
Tom: Melon?
Favourite movie quote?
Tom: “When life gives you lemons, just say **** the lemons and bail.” -Paul Rudd, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Phil: ...
What’s your fave 90s tv show?
Phil: Saved by the Bell
Tom: The Fresh Prince of Bel Air
In your opinion, where’s the worst place you could get stuck?
Phil: In a studio with tom all day…
Tom: A plane, and ouch.
If you worked in a hospital, what would you do?
Phil: Keep all the patients entertained by blasting some rock music through the tannoy.. When I got fired I would busk outside for loose change.
Tom: I’d be a janitor.
Day or Night?
Phil: Day
Tom: Night, (see why we’re a good match?)
Last film you watched?
Phil: Game Night
Tom: Magic Mike XXL (don’t ask).
Cats or Dogs?
Phil: Dogs
Tom: Dogs
Coffee or Tea?
Tom: Coffee
Phil: Tea for me
Who’s your fave member of Two Point and why?
Phil: Mark Webley as he has always had faith in us for some reason as we are so new to the industry he puts a lot of responsibility in our hands which we love! Everyone is great though.. must be hard being so nice to the sound guys who once almost deleted the build…
Tom: Mark Webley and Gary Carr have been great to us, but I’d be crazy not to say Ben Perry. He’s been putting up with my nonsense since day 1, but always manages to help us get the sound working the way we want it to.
What’s the most delightful word you can think of?
Phil: Pizza
Tom: Sofa
You’re going out to buy cheese, what cheese do you get?
Phil: Halloumi, Brie, mozzeralla balls and 2 multipacks of cheesestrings.. (cheese is great)
What’s the last thing you liked on social media?
Tom: an old man playing some really chilled blues in a guitar shop on Instagram..
You have to do a dance, what song will it be to?
Phil: Dead or alive - 'You Spin Me Right Round’
Tom: Taylor Swift - ‘Shake It Off'
You’re running for PM, what will be your campaign slogan?
Tom: ‘We’re gonna give renewable energy a proper go.. Who’s with us?'
We’re taking James Watt off the fifty pound notes, who will you replace him with? Why?
Tom: David Attenborough. I know he’s not revolutionary, but I’d just like to see his face more often.

Hello everyone, and welcome to LOWER BULLOCKS.
No, I’m not swearing at you like a complete filth-monster. Lower Bullocks is, in fact, one of the levels in Two Point Hospital, nestled in the clement and temperate countryside of the southern end of Two Point County.
Our US PR Manager Erica sat down on Lower Bullocks recently (sounds painful), so we decided to capture some snaps of her hospital and give our impressions of what a good or terrible job she has done for the whole world to judge.
(For what it’s worth, we think she’s done a great job here).
Survey this scene, for example. Erica’s laid out four plots. Count them! In this scenario you start off with one plot, but have the capability to expand if you’re earning the dough to balance it out. Erica’s got fat stacks – 764k of currency by the looks of it – so has really pushed her hospital's footprint.
It looks like she’s got a couple of pharmacies on the go, a healthy spread of toilets and a nice set up with double reception desks on the main entrance. That’s a great way to get more people through the door more efficiently!
Here’s a closer look.
Over in another block, we can see those toilets in a bit more detail. A delicious use of a pot plant to liven up the atmosphere in the lavatories, but what’s going on with all the space in the De-Luxe Clinic? Perhaps Erica was going for a bigger room to increase the prestige.
Holy wowsers, look at that ward! Not only has Erica arranged 16 beds in there for maximum efficiency, she’s also placed some pot plants in there to keep the attractiveness up. Also four nurses stations and screens – this is guaranteed to be a super-efficient place to be treated!
Ah, now this looks like a diagnosis wing. We have six doctor’s offices, five psychiatry clinics and, of course, a tuck shop to fix those all-important munchies.
Think you can do better? You don’t have long to wait to find out. Two Point Hospital is out on August 30th and you can pre-purchase it right now for a lovely 10% discount.

Hello, delightful Scrubs!
As you may have seen today, we’ve announced that pre-purchase is up and running for Two Point Hospital (with a wonderful 10% early bird bonus discount, no less) and that the game will be out on August 30th, 2018! Earlier than you thought, huh? We’re such teases!
Some of you might have been looking for some minimum specs on our Steam page so that you can figure out if your PC can run it or not. While we’re very, very close to confirming these, we’re not quite there yet (we’re mere days away while we test a bunch of configurations).
The bit we’re trying to confirm is how the game will run on built-in graphics cards (for those of you who do not have dedicated graphics cards in your PC). To give you a loose guideline on this, we expect the game to work as a minimum on Intel HD 640 onboard graphics cards. That covers off a wide range of possible computers, but please check that yours is at least as powerful before buying – and check off against the other specs below.
Below is the expected minimum spec list (which also includes dedicated graphics cards in this list – if you are skipping down the page and you have an onboard/internal card please do read the paragraph above).
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3 6100 or equivalent AMD
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460, 1 GB or ATI Radeon HD 6850, 1 GB
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 6 GB available space
So there we go. We have a release date, we have pre-orders available (with a lovely 10% off) and now you also have details of likely minimum specs. Time to get sketching your dream hospitals, because this is getting real!
Lauran,
Two Point Studios

Happy Wednesday, Scrubs!
Prepare yourselves - in addition to our big news today (which you can expect around 3pm!), we’ll also be showing LIVE gameplay of Two Point Hospital for the very first time!
So set your watches and join the Live Stream Dream Team (our own words) consisting of myself and Craig, as we play through an exclusive preview of the game!
Will we lay out their rooms the way you want? Will we hire janitors with potentially rude names? Will we let patients die for our own amusement?!
There’s only one way to find out! Tune in at 5.30pm BST TODAY http://Twitch.tv/SEGA
See you there!

Hello Scrubs! We totally see you there ;)
After a short break for E3 and some other events, we're back with Update 7 to our Two Point Radio Playlist! Can I get an AMEN UP IN HERE?! *ahem* Anyways, it's another cracking addition to our already killer playlist of bangers...
You can find the playlist here: https://spoti.fi/2Kp98gI
Gary Carr, Northern Man and Founder:
Sinead O'Connor - Queen of Denmark.
This is a cover of a John Grant track, but Sinead makes it much angrier ;)
Ben Hymers, Lead Programmer:
Wombats - Cheetah Tongue. I listened to this pretty much non-stop after going to the Isle of Wight Festival! Wombats were the surprise hit of the weekend for me :)
Mark Smart, Lead Artist:
Descent Of The Stiperstones - Half Man Half Biscuit
A typical tale from HMHB. Rambling, Swarfega, dusty Hussars…..Crossroads (1970’s dodgy UK Soap Opera) all get a mention. Fun just spotting all the references. All this dressed up in Dylan influenced Hammond organ driven backing track.
The Last Serenade (Sailors and Fisherman) – Flogging Molly
From Life Is Good. Raucous and always good fun, but here a more gentler tune. Has the characteristic Irish lilt, little bit sad, little bit uplifting.
Rich Brooks, Progammer:
Pace is the Trick - Our Love To Admire - Interpol
Everyone who knows my tastes always say I should love Interpol. But I just can't get into their music. I guess if I had to explain it, I'm not really a fan of ever repeating quavers for lead guitar parts. It somehow seems lazy creatively. But hey, that's just my opinion. I do however like this track!
We've Lost Our Way - Secret Sessions - My Vitriol
I used to love these guys. But listening to their music now, in the cold light of the 2010s, it's so messy and dirty. Some "Secret Sessions" have just appeared on Spotify, so I've been enjoying to horribly muddy / bassy mix.
Craig Laycock, Brand Manager:
Placebo - Running Up That Hill, because I've only just discovered it, shocking everyone! (including Kate Bush who just fell of her stool backwards... so I hear)
Prem, Artist:
Efficiency, efficiency, efficiency!
Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger.
Iron - Woodkid.
Mark Webley, Founder:
Heaven or Las Vegas - Cocteau Twins
The Scarlet Thing in You - Peter Murphy
these are a couple of tracks that most remind me of making Theme Hospital and I've been listening to them again recently - The Cocteau Twins are timeless and insanely excellent, so great to listen to in whatever decade you accidentally find yourself in. And the Peter Murphy track was on an "EP" that Gary gave me.
Later on at Lionhead, Peter Murphy joined us as Finance Director - sadly it wasn't the former Bauhaus singer so, in a way, that was a disappointment.
Lauran, Community Manager:
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes - Wild World
I love the orginal, but this version stinks of my youth and getting up to hijinx with my pals. I love it.

Design and build your own hospital!
Build up a hospital from nothing to a masterpiece as you design the most beautiful – or functional – healthcare operation in the whole of Two Point County.
Optimise your hospital design to increase patient (and cash) flow, arranging corridors, rooms and waiting areas to your exact specifications. Expand your hospital to multiple buildings as you look to get as many patients through the door as possible.
Place decorative and functional items around your hospital to improve its prestige, lower patient boredom, increase happiness and keep those end of year awards flowing in.
Cure unusual illnesses
Don’t expect Two Point County to be populated with your usual types of patients. In this world, you’ll experience all kinds of unusual illnesses; from Light-headedness to Cubism – each requiring their very own special type of treatment machine.
Diagnose illnesses, build the right rooms to handle them, hire the right staff, and then get ready, because curing just one of these illnesses is just the beginning. You can handle a single patient – but can you handle a Pandemic?
Once you’ve conquered an illness, research improved cures and machines and turn your hospital into an unstoppable healthcare juggernaut.
Improve and expand your hospital horizons!
Your first hospital is where it begins, but what next?
Once you’ve cured the residents of a small harbour village, can you take on a bigger challenge in a busier hospital?
Improve your facilities, upgrade machines, staff and layouts to make more money, more quickly.
Train and improve your staff, levelling them up with new skills and abilities to make your hospital even more efficient.
Make use of the extensive statistic and information screens to analyse your strengths and weaknesses, and make rapid alterations. Adjust the price of your treatments, keep an eye on your turnover, take out loans and optimise your earnings.
You’ll be managing staff with unique personality types and traits, so you’ll need to keep an eye on who’s being efficient – and who is just a pain in the neck. Balance your workforce with your ambitions as you strive to make profit (and hopefully save some people along the way).
