The next round of adding more content and polishing the game. My hearty thanks to player Colten for his effort in tracking down grammar issues and suggesting corrections / alternatives. Very much appreciated! Features: --------------------------- - New class Champion added which is basically a sword wielding retaliation specialist. Available for both player and enemy faction. - New monster class Beetle added as opponent to several scenarios. - New scenario 4a added where a Champion joins the player's team. - Alternate floor tile color for dungeons added to have more change. - A few minor UI overhauls like color changes and image size changes. Scenario Balancing: --------------------------- - Scenario 9 (Highwayman): Difficulty slightly decreased. - Scenario 102 (Burglary): Positioning and timing of guards overhauled, so it's possible now to take them out 1 by 1. - Scenario 110 (Below Willowdale): Difficulty slightly decreased. - Scenario 1b (TheSewers): Fiasko is not prohibited any longer from joining the battle in this scene. - Scenario 10 (Mage Tower): Overhauled to make it more interesting. Class Balancing: --------------------------- - To make bandits more flexible early on, they have the skill Withdraw now. The new main damage skill is a beefed up Rend Armor instead of Double Strike. - Overhauled skill Hit and Run: Substantially strengthened the skill and made it available earlier on for Bandit Archers. The main purpose of this skill is to support guerilla tactics close to an owned outpost. - The bandit's chance of stealing successfully is not always 100% any longer but depends on the skill rank: 60% for Rank 0 and 10 % additional chance for each rank. Thus, a fully maxed Purse Strike / Purse Shot skill grants a 90% chance of stealing successfully. - Overhauled skill Ram. Causes always physical damage now and more damage per rank. This change makes the skill much more useful for the Travel Mage for instance. - Overhauled skill Beast Shot to make it stronger against beasts but weaker against non-beasts. - Overhauled skill Riposte because it had granted more Pow than intended. The Ret buff remains basically the same, but the Pow buff has a fixed amount now for all ranks. - Commoner damage and healing slightly increased. - Ranger has slightly more MP now. - Changed a few recommendation notes at the character selection screen. Warden is now marked as 'recommended for beginners', for example. Bug Fixes: --------------------------- - A few graphical glitches of the dungeon tile set and the interior tile set fixed. - Occasionally missing unit shadows during post-battle dialogues fixed. - Occasionally wrong rotation of riders' forelegs fixed. - Several English grammar issues fixed (kudos to player Colter for his effort in tracking them down and suggesting corrections). - Changed Ally Camp lighting in the Cave to avoid color gradient banding.
