Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuo's 2002 B-Game classic 'Sexy Hiking'. You move the hammer with the mouse, and that's all there is. With practice, you'll be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await the master hikers who reach the top of the mountain.
To quote Jazzuo himself: "The hiking action is very similar to way you would do it in real life, remember that and you will do well".

- Between 2 and ∞ hours of agonizing gameplay, depending. The median time to finish for my playtesters was 5 hours, but the mean was closer to ∞.

Hello Getting Over it Fans
I wanted to let you know that the game we\'ve been working on since 2019 is finally out - Baby Steps, a challenging game about hiking with a lot of same flavor as Getting Over It.
The basic gameplay idea is that you walk up a mountain - only, you control your feet manually using the mouse buttons or the triggers on a controller. We were able to create some truly diabolical level design challenges within that system, and they\'re all hidden within a really large expansive open world.
I\'m also back in the saddle as a voice actor for this one - in fact, I\'m voicing seven different characters in the game across over 90 minutes of cutscenes. You can skip them of course but... even that may turn out to be harder than you think.
This has been a real labor of love for me and my teammates Gabe and Maxi, but I hope you will enjoy playing it as much as we have over the years.
