I was planning to work on a patch all day today and release it later, however, I think delivering the fixes fast and hard to all of you is more important so I'm upping my morning's work now, with another on the way this afternoon and likely two more tomorrow. I'm going to work hard for all of you to make Monster Crown smoother and more bug free as quickly as possible! Here's the details of our latest patch, right now I'm polling the forums, discord, and our bug reporting tool to assess the highest priority fixes that provide the most benefit to you. Closed Beta v1.44 ---------------------- +Body Tackle nerfed to 4 power instead of 5 +Starting cash amount doubled from 150 to 300 +Raining inside much less likely to happen +Can now forfeit +Can no longer get free to move in the overworld during battle +Brutus nerfed from lv23 to lv19 +Skull icons added to dangerously strong foes that can wipe you out with ease +After mom tutorial forced monster to refollow the player properly instead of remaining stationary, this had caused a softlock for at least one player +Killing yourself with Dark Deed and the foe at the same time no longer causes a softlock +Pretty sure I've eliminated all ways you can have a scout going on and have that lead to: +Breaking free and moving in the overworld during battle +Breaking free during a chat/cutscene +Big improvements to the world loading code, should fix the "wrong walls/collisions" issue but if you encounter it in specific areas be sure to @ me anytime. #Please note that we want to keep the primary EA build stable so new builds will be uploaded to the EA-BETA branch for 24 hours before being moved to the main stream. Anyone can access this branch, just right-click Monster Crown in Steam, go to properties and select the EA-BETA branch to have the up to the minute, bleeding edge updates.
