I need your help to test it! Free keys will be given in return for feedback. I reserve the right to disable the key if no useful feedback is provided after a reasonable amount of time.

- Attacking a unit will now give away your position to the unit being attacked, unless you are cloaked.

Adapt or Perish has seen many significant improvements since release:
- Increased unit intelligence by adding "Overkill" consideration
- Additional late game challenges beyond just stronger enemies (more aggressive AI & more varied enemy unit generation)
- Virtual Reality improvements, like SteamVR keyboard integration & UI hiding
- Sight recalculation, so units better utilize the exact sight value paid for
- Important balancing & exploit patches
- Bugfixes

- Units now can only increase their individual level beyond your Global Level (provided by Global Level Upgrade buildings) by 4 via killing & level upgrade crates. Level boosts provided by Elemental Resistance & Damage types matching terrain biomes is unaffected. So, a unit standing on Plasma terrain, whom is Plasma Resistant & Damaging, could be at most 6 levels ahead of your Global Level. This addresses issues with "super" units becoming progressively powerful without any further base support or adjustments to strategy
- Fixed a cosmetic bug that caused unit rotations to get stuck, particularly small flying units
- Fixed a rare loading bug that may corrupt saved games
- Further explained how "Explodes on Contact" works

- Now every 3rd Overseer will be a Grand Overseer
- After killing the first Grand Overseer, and for each Overseer killed thereafter, the lowest resistance limit will increase. After around 11 Overseer kills, the game will always play in Extreme resistance!
- When trying to play fullscreen in a non-native aspect ratio, Adapt or Perish will fallback to windowed mode. This is to prevent a suspected Unity 5.6 bug that causes inaccurate mouse clicks

- Units will now consider if a unit is about to die before shooting more at it. This will speed up both your attacks, and enemy attacks on you!
- Fixed a pair of very rare backend crashes that may have caused the build list interface to become unresponsive. Hopefully this will end this hard to reproduce bug!

Heads up everyone! Some relatively big sight changes are coming! Currently, units reveal terrain in a square pattern instead of a circle. Although this "works," it has some undesirable behavior: 1) Units attack & detect stealthy units in a circle, as they should -- so the terrain revealed would poorly match detection and attack ranges. 2) Only sight values of 5, 9 and 15 mattered due to all of the rounding happening -- which was unintentional. 3) Enemies properly see in a circle, so your units revealing them in a square provided the player an unexpected advantage. 4) Also due to the rounding issues, it didn't matter where your unit was on a terrain "cell" -- it always revealed a certain number of terrain "cells" away. This update fixes all of that by properly calculating terrain (and enemy) visibility in a circle. The "unfortunate" side effect is, units will reveal less terrain than they did before -- but it will behave much better. This update also:
- Fixed pulldown menus not displaying selected values in the "Simple Contrast" UI theme
- Fixed Unit Identifiers when trying to show units with no letters in their names (e.g. "12345")

If you deleted a unit definition for something already out in the field, then tried to turn on Unit Identifiers -- it would cause units to visually disappear due to a background crash. v1.15 should fix this! Your saved games should be fine too.

Adapt or Perish is out of beta and reached v1.3 -- getting ready for release early this year (hopefully within about a month). A recent update, thanks to feedback from testers, greatly streamlines how units you define get built. I removed the tutorial video, since not only was it getting graphically outdated, it was going through some confusing mechanics that no longer exist.
