Dungeon Souls Update #12.8
Details of this section: [spoiler]This section contains the scope of what patches were made in the current version.[/spoiler] Patch 12.8 contains few changes to the game and an addition of a few features and items, as well as some bug fixes. We intended to fix some bugs and small issues that we found on the previous versions, so that the game becomes more stable. We are also readying the alchemy lab concept for the next update! Two new heroes are expected to come in the next patch as well (if everything goes accordingly)!
-(NEW)Smooth Camera: You can enable/disable the smooth camera movement, just in case you get headaches! Thanks to Steam user nnnope for the suggestion! -(NEW)Vertical Sync: You can enable/disable vertical synchronization in case your game is having screen-tearing issues.
-Item Stacking (BETA MECHANISM): Whenever the player picks an item, if it cannot stack, it will be converted into either gold or experience. Thanks to Steam user Lightningbros for the suggestion! -Potion Slots: Potion slots now allow stacks of two of the same item. Thanks to Steam user Zior for the suggestion! -Blood On Foot: Changed name to "Bloody Rabbit's Foot". Thanks to Steam user Lightningbros for the suggestion! -Compass: Now stacks up to two times. On second pick-up, displays the location of chests on the mini-map. Item Effect: -20% slow effect; +3 defense Item Stacking: 8 (adds 10% to the effect and 4 to the defense, up to 50% slow reduction and 15 defense) Item Class: Rare Hidden Passive: Adds ", eh!" at the end of in-game speech. Details of this section: [spoiler]This section contains the bug fixes that were applied in issues detected in the previous versions.[/spoiler] -Item "Green Meat Cube" now has the correct outline colour; -Ability cooldowns now have a black outline for easier reading. Thanks to Steam user Zior for the suggestion! -Fixed a bug where getting damaged would sometimes cause a crash in the game. Thanks to Steam user JONSNOW for the suggestion! -Fixed a bug where red-scarf's slow chance reduction was not being applied; -Fixed a bug where Rusty Sword was applying more bonus damage than intended; -Butterfly wings now display the damage output. Dungeon Souls is an action-adventure roguelike dungeon crawler.
Each level is completely procedurally generated so every playthrough is guaranteed to have environment and challenges. Search and activate all the marks placed in each level to unlock the dungeon and hopefully escape. Scavenge various items and upgrades to counter the dungeon's dark forces. You must survive.
Some elements in Dungeon Souls were inspired by Nuclear Throne, Risk of Rain, Overture, BitVenture and Shoot First.
