Valheim is a game about exploring a huge fantasy world inspired by norse mythology and viking culture. You start your adventure at the relatively peaceful center of Valheim. The further from the center you travel, the more challenging the world becomes. But you will also find more valuable materials that you can use to craft deadlier weapons and sturdier armor. You will also build your own viking strongholds and outposts all over the world. Eventually you will build a mighty longship and sail the great oceans in search of exotic lands … but be wary of sailing too far...Features:

Were back after a bit of a summer break, and weve got lots of things going on!
To start with, as you may have already noticed, were at Gamescom to present the latest update, Call to Arms. Its available on the Public Test Branch right now for everyone who wishes to try it out! You can read the patch notes here , and well of course share the trailer again, because we think it turned out pretty cool:

On site in Cologne we have our Iron Gate team members Robin, Andreas and Emilia, and while they might be a bit busy doing some interviews, theyre happy to stop and chat if you want to say hi to them.\n
But Gamescom isnt the only event well be attending; in a month we will also have a booth at Tokyo Game Show! If youll be attending, please come say hi! And even if you wont be in Tokyo keep an eye out, because well be having an exciting announcement to make for that event as well.\n
Since theres plenty of other things to focus on right now, well be having a bit of a break from the Hervor episodes. We can promise that her voyage will continue, but first you will have to wonder about her fate a little longer.
With that said though, we dont want to leave you entirely without a Deep North teaser for this month. Since were already fully focused on combat this month, lets take a peek at one of the weapons youll be able to craft in the biome:
