- WORLD MAP to present the non-linear mission structure of Age of Fear: The Undead King GOLD better, including tons of optional special locations to visit and endlessly playable random battles for an Open World feel!
- DEEP PARTY CUSTOMIZATION where players can capture (or resurrect!) enemies, recruit new units and evolve them into higher forms. The possibilities are huge with 200+ distinct units to build your unique team with!
- GLOBAL EVENTS that occur while exploring the World Map, à la Battle Brothers. This feature is still being developed and could serve to provide more lore and fun unit interactions conditional on the player's party!
- FACTION BASES which can be upgraded as you explore the Age of Fear world. Investing in base upgrades will unlock additional recruitable units, skills and locations to explore!
- ALIGNMENTS such as Evil and Holy. This feature has already been introduced into the Age of Fear series but requires more work to be equally impactful across both of Age of Fear: The Undead King GOLD's campaigns.
- EXTENDED STORY including Krill's visions, alternative endings, more detailed lore, etc.
- ...everything else we come up with! Purchase only if you want access to the latest features in the Age of Fear series, and please keep in mind that this is an evolving product.
Now, the time has come to expand Age of Fear: The Undead King into more of a fantasy mercenary simulator (like a top-down Battle Brothers with fireballs and a compelling story) while continuing to polish and elaborate on the game experience. There's plenty of new stuff to look forward to in Age of Fear: The Undead King GOLD's future which you definitely don't want to miss!
Welcome into 2020 everyone! First of all, we wish you all a Happy New Year and fulfilment of all your dreams!!
We have quite big plans for the Age of Fear series in 2020 - we aim to release TWO new games for the series as well as to add a number of features and enhancements such as Crafting, invisibility, additional environments, new units and a number of optional quests. As Always, all enhancements/additions will be back-ported to the whole series in due time (except for Free World which should remain a demo-like experience).
Actually, I have a favour to ask if you want to contribute to the Age of Fear series development. We are currently working on Crafting features - heroes will be able to create items from a variety of resources as well as upgrade some common items. We already wrote bits about this mechanics, but let me explain in details:

While (1), (2) and (3) are mostly developed (however, feel free to add there as well!), we need some help with (4), i.e. specifying which resource items are used to create items and to do it in sensible way. There are 236 items that need some work and we could use some help for that. Please let me know of you are interested and we can organise this task.
