Hellooo Gliders,
Hope you're all doing well! I wanted to push a quick patch since I stumbled on a must fix while working on some new content. More coming soon after this patch though!
Changes, and Content:
- Asteroids and Comets can now be destroyed by Nuke Up AOE and the initial impact of Nuke Up rockets.
- Asteroids and Comets can now be destroyed by Heat Seeker rockets.
- Asteroids and Comets can now be destroyed by Wing Gun and Pit Gun projectiles
- Nuke Up rockets are faster and arc for a more natural feel. Will leave battlefield now if there is no target
- Heat Seeker rockets are much faster and also arc for a more natural feel. Will leave battlefield now if there is no target to seek.
- Singleplayer only issue with the ghost glide not lasting as long as it should since the buff it received the last patch. All fixed now! I'm sorry if this affected anyone from your top glide.

Two player co-op is here!
New Content in this patch:
- Co-op Multiplayer mode, play together... or not and earn a separate two-player score aside from your normal Top Glide.
- New unlockable glider craft that has a low speed and boost but has maximum glide stats to really get drifting out there!
- The Wing Guns Power Up adds plasma guns to each of your wings that fire outwards. If your craft has a broken wing it will be a single wing gun. combines great with Pit Gun.
- The Pit Gun is a large plasma cannon on the front of your craft that fires larger bullets forwards. combines great with Wing Guns.
- Asteroids and Comets have been redone and now can spawn in multiple shapes, sizes, and speeds.
- New HUD system that displays all active Powerups player is using.
- Restart button in pause menu for Co-op.
- Many fixes and bugs squashed
- Speed and Boost Powers have been nerfed quite a bit
- Ghost Glide now stacks properly with other Powers like Orbit Up
- Some Bandit Ai has been reworked and recreated for multiplayer.
- Some menu and controller reworks (more coming!) to improve UI/UX

New Content & Additions
- Speed Up and Boost Up now both have a constant visual effect to go with the speed buff helping you know when you have those Power Ups easier.
- Added the Comet environment hazard. The Comet is slower than the asteroid but leaves an icy trail behind it slowing your Glider down when touching the trail. Like the asteroid, if your wings or craft come into contact with the Comet they will explode. The Icy trail will not damage your Glider craft.
- PowerUp issue when two Powerups touched they could sometimes activate the effects on the glider craft whether the glider touched the powerups or not.
- The two buttons on Game Over screen that were not auto highlighting with a controller being used now auto highlight so you can use the stick to navigate the buttons rather than only Start/Select on the controller or Enter/Escape on the keyboard. Multiple options now for whatever UX to help you to glide safer next time.
- You can now skip the game over screen after a two-second delay by hitting the (a) button. You can retry instantly as always by hitting the start button on the controller or Escape on the keyboard after getting a game over.
- Language support
- Power Up display HUD for in use PowerUps
- Racing tunnel mode
- Local Multiplayer Score VS mode
- Local Multiplayer Coop mode

Reporting for duty,
I have been spending a ton of time ensuring balance and testing the game as of late but managed to still squeeze a few more features/fixes into the game before launch!
New features:
- Asteroid field generator and physics-based asteroids that destroy both Gliders and Bandits
- Balance and tuning for the second craft that is unlockable (speed buff+)
- Achievements
- Pilot rankings based on your glide experience!
- Warning notifications for incoming Black Holes and Asteroids
- Patroling Reaver Bandits that shoot firey death when close to a Glider Craft
- Full pass on the game for collision integrity and tightness (gif below)
- Nuke, HeatSeeker, Ghost, and more PowerUps
- Increased PowerUp spawn rates and changed notifications to current powerups so that it will show all in use as you collect more! I plan on eventually adding a UI icon with pictures that show powerups list and which are active.
- Variety of issues, bug fixes and design solutions to player annoyances based on closed Beta feedback!
For the current roadmap, I will continue to fix any issues that arrive from players first and then will return to adding more balanced content with the environment, Bandit, and PowerUps. I will try and post some discussion questions so that maybe if there is anyone out there I can hear from you about the future direction Warp Glider will be going in! :) Cheers everyone, and thanks for the support, Dave Nickerson Mole Eyes Entertainment

I have added four new unique Power Ups and rebalanced their combined use with the existing ones!
Power Ups now spawn considerably more often and you have the potential of stacking 5-7 at a time if you glide far and also get lucky in a round.
As you can see in the GIF when having an offensive Power Up like the Wing Blaze it is handy to pick up a defensive type one like the Gravity Up at the same time for some nice results!
Cheers, More updates soon,
Dave

- Still just pumping out some new content for launch but this new charging bandit has made it past the balance test and will also come in a very fast hard version. Here is what they look like, it quickly becomes a threat in large numbers with its unpredictability.

Hi, Everyone, I'm David Nickerson solo developer at Mole Eyes Entertainment. Warp Glider will be the first game I have launched on my own. The last launched Steam Game I co-created was called "Pixel Boy and the ever-expanding dungeon". I plan on continuing to develop this game after launching in two weeks and some of the things on the road map are:
- More PowerUp weapons
- More Bandit/Enemies - shooting types, warping types
- More Glider Craft types
- Speedrun tunnel mode
- Speedometer with unlockables if reaching or doing things at speeds
- More options in the main menu and pause screen

🎮 Full Controller Support
- Warp Glider Linux Depot [134.29 M]
In Warp Glider you control a glider craft able to warp through the edges of the screen collecting energy. Keeping the ever-expanding waves of Bandits approaching through the dark rift horizon at bay. Your objective is to survive and collect electric energy orbs to increase your score, the longer you survive it will increase the difficulty of the game in a multitude of ways. Use the momentum of the craft while traveling in combination with rotating steering and boosters for a detailed sense of control and aerial acrobats across and through the screen at sometimes ridiculous speeds. You can break a single wing and survive to find a wing-fix but break both wings and your ship will explode.
The Bandits have unique movement patterns and behaviors and become more advanced versions of themselves if reached. Your boost ability can get you out of a positional jam or sometimes can put you in a worse spot if you hit an environmental obstacle like black holes that will pull everything to its event horizon. The gravity bombers that will push away anything in close to it might or might not help you survive either.
Pickup stackable PowerUps for offensive, utility, or defensive strategy to help survive the Bandits as you work your way around the battlefield. Some PowerUp examples being Cloaking devices, Speed Boosters, Shields, Mines etc.
Warp Glider will work with a flight stick, Joystick controller, or with a keyboard and mouse. I recommend to glide with a standard Console/PC controller for the joystick but it's developed to suit whatever you're comfortable with. You will also have the ability to unlock a new glider craft with different speed, boost, and glide ability stats that gives you an alternative controlling craft.
Thank you, if you got this far! :O
