Nukes and Bandits, and more, oh my! (Dev Update Dec, 4th, 2018)
For the current roadmap, I will continue to fix any issues that arrive from players first and then will return to adding more balanced content with the environment, Bandit, and PowerUps. I will try and post some discussion questions so that maybe if there is anyone out there I can hear from you about the future direction Warp Glider will be going in! :) Cheers everyone, and thanks for the support, Dave Nickerson Mole Eyes Entertainment

Reporting for duty,
I have been spending a ton of time ensuring balance and testing the game as of late but managed to still squeeze a few more features/fixes into the game before launch!
New features:
- Asteroid field generator and physics-based asteroids that destroy both Gliders and Bandits
- Balance and tuning for the second craft that is unlockable (speed buff+)
- Achievements
- Pilot rankings based on your glide experience!
- Warning notifications for incoming Black Holes and Asteroids
- Patroling Reaver Bandits that shoot firey death when close to a Glider Craft
- Full pass on the game for collision integrity and tightness (gif below)
- Nuke, HeatSeeker, Ghost, and more PowerUps
- Increased PowerUp spawn rates and changed notifications to current powerups so that it will show all in use as you collect more! I plan on eventually adding a UI icon with pictures that show powerups list and which are active.
- Variety of issues, bug fixes and design solutions to player annoyances based on closed Beta feedback!

In Warp Glider you control a glider craft able to warp through the edges of the screen collecting energy. Keeping the ever-expanding waves of Bandits approaching through the dark rift horizon at bay. Your objective is to survive and collect electric energy orbs to increase your score, the longer you survive it will increase the difficulty of the game in a multitude of ways. Use the momentum of the craft while traveling in combination with rotating steering and boosters for a detailed sense of control and aerial acrobats across and through the screen at sometimes ridiculous speeds. You can break a single wing and survive to find a wing-fix but break both wings and your ship will explode.
The Bandits have unique movement patterns and behaviors and become more advanced versions of themselves if reached. Your boost ability can get you out of a positional jam or sometimes can put you in a worse spot if you hit an environmental obstacle like black holes that will pull everything to its event horizon. The gravity bombers that will push away anything in close to it might or might not help you survive either.
Pickup stackable PowerUps for offensive, utility, or defensive strategy to help survive the Bandits as you work your way around the battlefield. Some PowerUp examples being Cloaking devices, Speed Boosters, Shields, Mines etc.
Warp Glider will work with a flight stick, Joystick controller, or with a keyboard and mouse. I recommend to glide with a standard Console/PC controller for the joystick but it's developed to suit whatever you're comfortable with. You will also have the ability to unlock a new glider craft with different speed, boost, and glide ability stats that gives you an alternative controlling craft.
Thank you, if you got this far! :O
