Only several weeks separate us from the tournament madness – prepare for the new age of virtual sportfishing and train to win the real prizes. In the end of this month we shall announce a Closed Beta test of tournaments so stay tuned if you want to be among the first virtual sportanglers. Hey there fellow anglers! Fishing Planet Dev Team here! You might have noticed that we've been pretty busy lately and sacrificed our communication to the speed of developing new stuff. But today we will try to restore the good old tendency with Status Report posts and Dev Blog posts. P.S. We have enabled the What's New window in the game to let you guys find the awesome Pro Angler Bundle and help newbies get to know about Competitions. Here's a short list of things we've been busy doing last week
Competitions:
- Dynamic scheduling system (a tailored solution that will allow all of you (in the majority of time zones) enjoy each and every competition
- Additional Competitions
Small perks and bugfixes:
- Ability to cut the line in any given moment of time introduced
- Additional notifications on the right time to strike the fish added (not visible for players LVL5 and up)
- Fish bite issues addressed and fixed (including fish bite issues on float tackle)
- Localization bugs fixed (mistakes and UI issues)
- DLC descriptions corrected and proofread
- Further competition scoring and rating improvement
- Messaging issues addresed
- Other minor bug fixes

- Lake Fork – we are looking forward to releasing a separate part of Lake Fork at first, a cove that will let you get used to the scale of the lake as we finish the rest of the Lake. We shall start sharing details next week E.T.A – to be announced
- Alaska River – a Michigan sized walkable Alaskan river with more than 5 new fish species is in production as we speak. We will share details in two weeks
