Welcome to The 4th of July Event: Independence Treasure Hunt 2024!
Join the Independence Day celebration missions and contribute to the restoration of the George Washington Monument! Embark on an exciting adventure to find fragments of Washington's battle saber, lost over a century ago. Set out to locate ancient canoes sunk in various North American waterways, guided by coordinates found on historical fish tags. Each sunken canoe holds a chest with relics and a piece of the saber. Restore the saber and receive an ancient map that will lead you to real treasures!
Fireworks can be launched on all American waterways and on Canadian White Moose Lake. Try your luck to collect them all!

While using Liberty Cannon you can win the FireCannon reel.
Remember, each Liberty Cannon can be fired only once per hour. To shoot the cannon, you must have a cannonball in your Backpack. The best part is that firing the Liberty Cannon and launching fireworks not only adds fun to your celebration but also attracts Historic Fish!
Embark on an epic angling adventure and try your luck at catching all the event fish that are over 200 years old! Each of these unique fish has a special anchor tag clipped onto their fins, marked with President George Washingtons signature. Good luck catching these living pieces of history!

American Independence Day is coming, its time to go on a treasure hunt! This year we also have a surprise for our Canadian anglers. It is Canada Day on July 1st, and you will have some treats from us to celebrate it with Fishing Planet!
The event kicked off today, on June 27th at 10:00 UTC and will be live until July 8th 10:00 UTC and will be held on all the American locations from Lone Star Lake, Texas to Kaniq Creek , Alaska.
