By collecting the entire set of cards you can earn items that help you customize your profile. You can collect cards inspired by legendary fish species, get unique badges and backgrounds for your Steam profile and emotes to use in Steam chat. All of this lets you personalize your Steam profile and make it feel like a showcase of your fishing journey.
Trading Cards
Our cards bring to life some of the most iconic species on the Planet. Collect them simply by playing Fishing Planet, and the more time you spend on the water, the more chances youll have to reel in a random free card. Typically, youll get about half of the set just from playing, while the rest comes as you trade with friends or visit the [u]Steam Marketplace[/u] to swap with anglers from all over the world. Collecting cards lets you craft badges that add to your Steam Level and is a fun way to show your expertise in Fishing Planet!

Once youve gathered all 7 Fishing Planet Trading Cards, you can craft a unique Steam badge. Each full set you complete will raise your badge to the next tier starting with Fishing Novice and climbing through Experienced Angler, Master of Fishing, and Mythic Catcher, until you reach the final honor: King of the Ocean! You can also collect a unique badge crafted from Foil Trading Cards. Unlike the regular one, it can only be crafted once per game and does not level up.
