Hi everyone, me again!
Today's a special day: it's been exactly one month since Shooting Hurts was first released on Steam, and to celebrate, I wanted to add in a small update that finally adds in an options menu!
The menu is accessible in the pause menu of the game, and allows you to adjust your field of view, mouse sensitivity and the volume of the game. Settings are saved when you apply them and should persist when you close and reopen the game.
I have one or two more settings I'd like to add in later on, but if there are any settings you think would improve your experience with the game, feel free to suggest them in the comments/ discussion boards. They just might make it in!
In the meantime, I hope you all have a better adjusted time with Shooting Hurts!
Good Luck!
Assume the role of a newly generated AI known as C.R.E-3d who was created for one purpose: to test an experimental energy weapon known as the Energy Projectile Converter.
The E.P.C. is a special weapon that is able to turn your health into projectiles, as well as generate solid platforms. Using these two functions, you will run, jump, and at times even shoot your way through numerous chambers packed with enemies designed to test your ability. How will you overcome them all and face the final challenge, when your own weapon is damaging to use? How will you make every shot count, when shooting hurts?
This game is 100% free, and features no In-Game purchases or microtransactions
