I posted Early Access Build 20171121 of Disputed Space. This build includes a Powerup and Drop system. Players can now pick up powerups to unlock weapons, increase weapon firing rate, charge shields, and dramatically increase the speed of the ship. The Powerups have colored shields around them for easy identification. Green - Engine Boost Red - Primary Weapon Unlock and Weapon Boost Blue - Shield Orange - Secondary Weapon Ammo (such as homing missiles and torpedos) I did not implement an ammo limit yet for the secondary weapons, so the orange powerups are not useful yet. The Engine and Primary Weapons each have 10 power levels. When the player's ship is destroyed, all of the collected powerups are dropped back into the scene. In addition to the new Powerup system, this build also includes showing the level number on the warp screen between levels and it includes improvements to reduce the time needed at the beginning of levels so the player can get back into the action quicker.
