I've read all the player survey responses (yes, even recent ones) and while not every suggestion will make it in, I'm taking everything into careful consideration. Yes - there will be rollback netcode! Unfortunately this does mean the original game will remain as it is, at least for now. HF2 originally started as a complete rebuild of the original HF, but it seemed like a waste to build the engine from scratch without putting it to use in a new game. Development also changed engines in the middle from Unity to Godot 4, so the process was definitely rocky but it's at a pretty good place now where the rest of development should be relatively stable. This is also planned to be a paid release, but I'm doing my best to make it better than the original in every way possible so it'll be worth your time and money! That's all I can reveal for now.
