Hi Everyone, Thank you all so much for your responses and suggestions. It has really helped shape the game we have now! The last update was rather large but this next update is shaping up to be even larger in the sense of how it alters certain aspects of the game. The idea of this coming update is to make the game have higher stakes. One of the things that is memorable about games like Oregon Trail or the original Wasteland is that it is easy and painful to lose a party member. In Hyperspace Delivery Service, it has become a bit too easy to never lose a crew member. So, I am re-balancing a bit on how the crew health is managed. It won't be unfair but it will take some consideration to keep everyone alive and well! Another aspect of the game getting a little re-balancing is the economy. Currently you end up doing a lot of mini game jobs to bring in income. And the issue there is that the mini games become too much at the forefront of game-play. So I am re-balancing a bit so that there is more opportunity and ability to shape your income based on strategy instead of mini games. For instance there will be a new feature allowing you to purchase intel which shows you the prices of supplies at different planets. This allows you to plan ahead and take advantage of price differences. All of these changes will really make it so you have choices on your play style. I hope to have this update ready before the weekend. No promises though. Thanks for playing and keep the comments coming!
