We've been talking about it for a while, and it's finally time to open the floodgates - the Hypnospace Outlaw Modding Update will be launching on November 19th, along with some super cool mods to get you into the mood (anyone fancy some more Seepage?) Using an in-game menu built especially for Mod.io, you'll be able to download mods you're interested in and give them a whirl. We know we talked about using Steam Workshop previously, but we're excited by the possibilities that Mod.io gives us and we promise it's really easy to use! We've made sure that come the 19th there'll be some cool things for you to try as well as some guides to get you started, even if you've not modded a game before. If you find you're looking for more help or to collaborate with others, we've also got a channel in the Discord for advice, asking questions and inspirations! From themes to hacks, music to whole new storylines, this will be a chance to make Hypnospace YOURS, and tell YOUR story, however you'd like! We can't WAIT to see what you create - see you on the 19th ;)
