In a future not so far away, one Artificial Intelligence prevailed above all other AI’s and their governments. Society has migrated to a permanently integrated reality connected to a single neural network which continuously optimizes their experiences by processing personal data.

Nathan, an outsider still refusing to comply to the new system, is making a living off the grid as a smuggler of modded hardware and cracked software. Geared up with his custom headset, he is among the few that can still switch AR off and see reality for what it is.

He shares an apartment in the city with his girlfriend Jay, a talented AR graffiti writer whose drones have been bit-spraying techno-color all over the augmented space in the city. Waking up one day, Nathan finds Jay has disappeared overnight, breaking his custom headset and leaving a cryptic message on their bathroom mirror.

Disconnected and determined to find out what happened to Jay, he finds himself tangled up in an unexpected journey involving Jay's hacker group and a guild of AR technomancers.

Travelling around the world, he'll have to walk across hardware graveyards, deal with digital archeology, tribes of cryptoshamans, and virtual reality debauchery.

Four new languages (Russian, Portuguese Brazilian, Chinese and Japanese) and full implementation and UI integration for the joypad bringing a new dimension for a point & click adventure experience.
ABOUT FULL CONTROLLER SUPPORT
Make sure you have disabled the Steam Input or, if you really need it, make sure to select the GAMEPAD template so to avoid Steam using your joypad as a mouse.
To verify if the Joypad Support is working it should be detected inside the configuration options of the game inside preferences - controls - configure joypad. You can assign a joypad by clicking on the assign joypad button and then clicking any button.
The controler is also fully customizable but the default configruation is the following:
Left stick: Movement
Right stick: Cursor

X: Journal
Y: Inventory
Left Trigger: Slow cursor
Right Trigger: Very slow cursor
Right shoulder: AVR On/Off
To hot swap from mouse to joypad you can use A,B,X or Y.
The joypad has been tested extensively but if you find any bug please do not hesitate to contact us.
ABOUT JAPANESE LOCALIZATION
The Japanese version was initially planned for the end of June. However, to coincide with this STEAM sale, we decided to make the localization work into Japanese one week earlier than originally planned so that Japanese fans could play it as soon as possible. Given the time constraints, it's complete but not fully playtested.
We would like all Japanese players to purchase at the sale price during this sale period, but it may take another week or so to play VirtuaVerse in the best condition.
Thanks a lot for your support!
