Hello fellow casual gamers,
Sneak In is the first game I released. Back in 2017, I worried about failing the release of City Game Studio (CGS has been released in 2019). I read several gamasutra's articles explaining that the first game you might want to release should be a little game. In the indie gaming industry, it means ~6 months of development. The reason is simple, when you release your first game, you will learn a lot by making mistakes. So I started working on a second tiny project.
And since Zuma is my favorite of the match-3 games genre, I started working on a neo-Zuma game with a twist.
Unique world map

I wanted to make a world map that you want to explore. By scrolling, it will play cute animations, and you can spend time playing with the world map. Since I lived in Montreal, I started walking in the city looking for mural painting. I took a lot of pictures and made a mood board. 2 months later, the worldmap of Sneak In was made. There are 16 animations, one per world.
Bonuses

Did I mention that I wanted to make a neo-Zuma game? It is quite ambitious since I spent hundreds of hour playing Zuma, and thousands playing other marble shooter games. Sneak In is my answer to the plethora of marble shooter games all alike. Every world has 14 levels plus 1 hard-level. Everytime you beat a world, you get a bonus. There are 3 bonuses in Sneak In, and you can use them when you need them. A bomb, a marble matcher and a time machine.
Marble with special powers

There are 7 magic marbles: The frozen, the bumpies, the ghosts, the rocks, the bubbles, the viruses and the blackholes. The frozen needs to explode 4 times before melting. The bumpies act as wall, and shooting one 3 times make it round, and it acts as a normal marble. A red ghosts marbles needs to be shot with a red marble to melt. There are green, yellow, purple, brown, blue ghost marbles. A rock can be paint with any other marble. A bubble marble matches with any other marble (those are my favorite). The virus marbles are killed when a marble explode near them and the blackholes marbles need to be shot several times before melting.
Still missing something

I enjoy playing marble shooters, so I made 240 levels, but once you've done with them, you've pretty much finished the game. Which is great, but you might still want to play it from time to time. So I made an infinite level that changes every week, and there is a worldwide leaderboard.
A demo will be available next week and I hope that, like me you will like Sneak In!
Thank you for reading me.
Regards
Binogure
