Update ver. 1.1.0 - Teach Me Your Ways!
[ 2020-06-25 11:28:11 CET ] [ Original post ]
You know an update is big when it's all golden and all! This time we bring you the long - awaited update o the tutorial! Jumping into the campaign should now be easier and more seamless to players unfamiliar with Charterstone.
Full list of changes:
- [Change] Tutorial has been updated! Having received a multitude of comments, emails, messages, and tweets telling us our tutorial was not good enough - we've updated it! We hope this will make the entry-level for players completely new to Charterstone lower and enhance everyone's overall experience. Give it a try and let us know if you think it's still missing something.
- [Fix] Building values have returned (oops!).
- [Fix] 3 digit values will now be taken into account in the window where we choose the Campaign scoring type.
- [Fix] Fixed a bug where the Candle sabotage action appeared twice in a row.
- [Fix] Fixed a bug where the game would not automatically pick and play the Treasure card that would skip the building's cost, where it was the only card the player could have chosen because they could not afford the building's cost.
- [Change] We added the option to take a scroll from the advancement mat and to play it immediately to skip a building's cost (even if we can afford it normally).
- [Change] Entering a room will now make all lingering notifications (red badge in the News section) be considered as read - the game will assume you've seen the - and thus the badge will disappear.
- [Fix] If you rename a Card, you no longer have to press Enter to confirm the change.
- [Fix] You can no longer spy on your opponent's choices during Sky Islands by viewing tooltips that should not yet have been there.
- [Fix] Architect Persona granting VP and Coins when we receive a Building Card will now properly activate if we get a card from a Crate.
- [Fix] Technomage Persona will now properly force the discard from the players with all minions on the board.
- [Fix] You can now log in using an email address that contains a "+" sign.

Charterstone: Digital Edition - Linux Content [585.87 M]
The official digital adaptation of Jamey Stegmaier’s board game - Charterstone!
From the creator of Scythe - the person responsible for eight successful crowdfunding campaigns (totalling over $3.2 million) emerged Charterstone. It’s a campaign focused game with high replayability. Players build charters to turn their village into the new Eternal City.
Just take a look at the honors the board game received:
2018 Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming Nominee
2017 Meeples' Choice Nominee
2017 Golden Geek Most Innovative Board Game Nominee
2017 Golden Geek Board Game of the Year Nominee
2017 Golden Geek Best Strategy Board Game Nominee
2017 Golden Geek Best Board Game Artwork & Presentation Nominee
2017 Cardboard Republic Architect Laurel Nominee
The long campaign is divided into a series of short games. Each game will have it’s own unique rules quirk as well as a unique goal set for you. Each game will build upon the previous ones and add something new! Your decisions and play style will affect the campaign, both as it progresses and its ending. Importantly, there are no negative interactions between players. In other words, you score points on the back of your own strategy, not by undermining your opponents. It’s especially important when playing against your friends or family in the Hot Seats mode!
So what is the game about? Can you convince the forever king to declare your village the new Eternal City?
• Pick one of the 6 unique characters to lead your charter
• Discover new buildings, scoring possibilities and game mechanics
• Strategize and manage your workers, buildings and resources
• Watch the ruleset, and the village, expand from game to game
• Build upon your progress from previous games
• Uncover the story as you progress through the campaign
What can you expect?
• Official Charterstone rules, consulted with Jamey Stegmaier himself
• Play with AI, friends or both - great experience for both solo and group play
• Awesomely animated board game map, buildings, characters and more!
• Full replayability - no two campaigns will be the same
• Beautiful art by Mr. Cuddington and Gong Studios
• Unique experience of a board game with convenience of a digital platform
• No negative interactions between players - no backstabbing!
• Achievements
