On the lookout for new puzzle testers!
We will release a new puzzle every Friday. The first puzzle will be released on the 5th of April at 19:00. The last puzzle will be released on the 3rd of May. Puzzles are fully playable for two people, but not yet polished to the high standard you can expect from us in the final release. When you are selected, we will assign you a single puzzle / area to play in a particular week, based on when youre available. More time may be granted for testing if we decide a puzzle could benefit from additional testing and feedback. On top of having the opportunity to see new puzzles develop, testers will get credited in the game with their Steam profile name. The first 100 applicants who fit our requirements will be accepted into the testing program. If you arent one of the first 100, don't feel disappointed yet as we might still ask you to join testing in the future if it turns out that we need additional testers.
There has been a lot of interest in testing the game, and therefore we're closing applications for now. Thanks to everyone who has mailed us and you will all receive an answer, but it might take a bit longer than expected due to the volume of requests. Thanks for your patience! Include the following:Your Steam profile name.
Your partners Steam profile name.
A short explanation of why you two want to join the testing and why you think you could be helpful.
Which weeks (running from Friday to Thursday) you and your partner are available for testing.
Note that, depending on the test, you will spend between 30 minutes and two hours on testing.
After you submit your email well get back to you with more information. You and your partner dont both need to submit an email, one between you is enough!
Please note that there are certain requirements that will be used to determine who will be selected for puzzle testing.
Requirements:
You have to be able to play the game in at least one of the weeks within the given timeframe.
You have played We Were Here (Too) for at least an hour.
Your Steam profile level is at least level 4.
Your Steam profile is visible to us, so we can check these requirements.
You have to be able to record both video and the audio of your playing session, and send them to us.
You are able to give written feedback to us about your experience playing an early puzzle.
You can communicate with us via our Discord.
You will also be asked to agree to the following NDA:
Non-Disclosure Agreement
In taking part in this early testing, you agree not to share information, screenshots, or video relating to the puzzles you experience. It goes without saying that the magic of the game is figuring out the puzzles with a friend, so we need to control what information is released before the game comes out. We hope you understand and appreciate your cooperation!
Our current testers have been exceptional with their comments and suggestions, and were hugely grateful. If youd like to join them, we look forward to hearing from you!

We Were Here Together is a standalone online cooperative adventure, the third entry in the We Were Here series.
The game continues the communication-centered adventure in which you and a partner must solve puzzles on an urgent mission to save the expedition... and yourself! This time, expect even more puzzles and discover the story behind the Antarctic expedition.
Starting out at the research base camp, you’ll need to figure out a way to get to Castle Rock together. Once you’re through the frozen Antarctic wastes, you'll find yourselves separated inside the castle itself, facing puzzles, secrets, and dangers! You and your partner have nothing but your wits and a walkie-talkie each. Observation, smart communication and teamwork will be the only way to escape from the sinister Castle Rock.
NOTE: This game is co-op only. It requires both players to have a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection.
Talk – Your voice will have to lead the way.
You and your expedition partner must traverse Antarctic wasteland and infiltrate a sinister ancient castle. The only possession you have left is a walkie-talkie.
Solve – The warmth of life abandoned the halls of Castle Rock long ago.
Immerse yourself in a thrilling experience as you and your partner puzzle your way through the expedition camp, frozen wastes, and finally multiple wings of two unique locations inside the abandoned castle itself. Discover brand new environments and mysteries, together.
Escape – We were not alone...
Darkness has engulfed the once magnificent Castle Rock and its surroundings. Can you discover the truth behind the grim fate of the fallen citadel and make it out alive... or will the original inhabitants catch you on your way out?
