Hi! First, Autumn Sales are now live! If you've been waiting for get your hands on the game, now is the perfect time! Rhythmy is at -50% so make sure to get the game while it is available! -- We wanted to give you an update as well on the development of the game. It's been a rough period for everyone (it still is) but things need to roll and life goes on as we say, we did take an extended break from the project for a few months, this was really needed but we've been back on the development since a few weeks/months now. Some things have changed, mostly in the game's backend because we were very unhappy with some of the core systems, and how they were behaving. There was also a lot of performance issues, which we're trying to tackle as we speak, as well as adding a new performance mode, which will remove some game elements, effects, in order to help slower computers run the game smoothly. Here's a short list of changes already made as well as some currently undergoing, that are planned for the next release: - (Editor) New TAG system, replacing the old InstanceID one, it will be much easier now to select a specific object for a specific function - (Editor) New generic tween functions, you can now move, change angle & size for non bullet type objects - (Game/Editor) New enemy type "OrbitMeteor" (preview included) showing off the TAG system to properly select dedicated instances, each element can be controlled independently - Last level for Orange Factory / Introduction of the new theme/chapter - Performance mode/improvements -> We reduced a lot the processing time of a lot of events, which significantly reduced freezes and lags - Editor QoL changes (Copy-paste event being one of the main new things) - Editor Preview changes/fixes (preview from current point will be fixed) - (Editor) Functions reorganization [previewyoutube=tGIAjvCxb9U;full][/previewyoutube] We hope you stay safe out there, and we should be back soon with more updates on the game, and a preview of the upcoming last level for Chapter 2!
