Just in time for the Steam Summer Sale, there's a big new update available for Mini Matches! You can download version 1.7.2 today.

Colours

The biggest change is that Mini Matches is now more colourful. Backgrounds take their flavour from the characters who aren't playing the match, and transitions between matches are now smoother and slightly faster so you can get into the action more quickly.
The majority of game modes have had this facelift, but you might notice a few missing while I bring them up to par over the next few weeks. This is because, in the background, I've also been making some major changes to support future features - including multiple players per team, and stable online multiplayer.

Racing

Another new feature in this update - and one of the most requested overall - is that race courses are now procedurally generated for the racing mode. Each time you play, you'll be given a new course with different obstacles - sharp corners, tight passages, forks in the road. Even the direction that you race is randomized to keep you on your toes.
I realize this update has been a long time coming, and my aim is to make sure that the next update isn't quite so far away! Happy playing, Philip
