Were back with our weekly new blast, summarizing what weve been up to. As an added bonus, weve been recording a very special person who weve brought in to do some voice acting! So, without further ado, lets get into it!

Know your Squad

The character of the week is the Veteran Morgan.
An iron-willed veteran with solid experience in leadership and combat, being a part of the war since its beginning is starting to take its toll on Morgan. His best days are behind him, and that terrifies him, but he's too stubborn to show any weakness.

Voice Acting with Cissy Jones

If that name rings a bell, then its for a very good reason! Cissy Jones is a BAFTA-winning actress that weve been lucky enough to bring to Broken Lines to do some excellent voice acting for us. Naturally, we recorded the entire process and in the coming weeks, we will be publishing clips from her session. To give you a taste of what it was like, here is the first clip taken from when she was recording the opening lines from our trailer! Have you ever wondered what the very first scene looked like when we began working on Broken Lines? Well, wonder no more!
This is a screenshot that we took when we had just begun work on Broken Lines, we had just opened Unity for the first time and wanted to see what we could put together. Looking at this screenshot, and comparing it to the actual game as it is now, were sure that youll agree that weve come a really long way! Jumping a few years forward, weve got a much more up-to-date screenshot. A close look at an enemy soldier.
At first glance, this may look like a normal enemy unit, however, look closer. There are a few things that are slightly off (by design) and relates to the games story.
