Broken Lines Weekly News Blast - A Look at Level Design
Level design is a very interesting topic, some people assume that its quite easy, others know that it is harder. However, what most people do not know is the amount of work that goes into creating a single level. Weve got a quick before and after image for you to check out that shows this point. The before image was taken before the level artists got their hands on the scene, the after shows how things looked after they did their magic!

This week our developers have been hard at work on the game and fixing some interesting bugs. One of the more unique bugs that we fixed this week (found by one of our beta testers) was when grenades could be made to trigger over and over again, check out this video to see it in action. Dont worry, the devs have found the cause of the bug and have fixed it, but we wanted to share this one with you! The squad has crash-landed behind enemy lines, in the heart of Eastern Europe. With no officers, no leaders, and no intel, they must find an unbreakable resolve if they are to survive.
But with only their training and instincts to guide them, survival becomes a difficult goal. First of all, they need to learn to work together to have any hope of coping with the challenges ahead.
Each survivor has their own views on what to do, and their own principles on what is acceptable. Some want to investigate what caused their crash, others want to stay low and avoid detection by the enemy. There are even whispers of desertion.
