Weve got some fantastic news for fans of Broken Lines. Right now we are at G-Star in Korea, one of the largest gaming conferences in Asia, showcasing Broken Lines to the event (with over 100,000 people in attendance), and whats more, we won the grand prize - The Big Indie PC Pitch! It is a great feeling to get this type of recognition for our baby - the story-driven tactical game, Broken Lines!
We are looking for beta testers to play through the game, find bugs and tell us what you feel needs improving. This week weve got quite a bit of news from the world of Broken Lines game development, so sit tight!
In the last month, we shared a few photos and slideshows from our very early days, showing you how we used an unconventional method to design Broken Lines - by playing in a special sandbox. Well, did you know that we took the sandbox created map design, and created an actual in-game version of it for our early game prototype? The machine gunner was just as deadly in-game as it was in our sandbox! [previewyoutube=EsSX1WoTU18;full][/previewyoutube]
As you may have noticed, we do enjoy sharing the various bugs that we find in our closed beta, mainly because theyre usually very funny to look at. Naturally, we quickly find the source of the bug and fix it, so no need to worry about the final release! This weeks bug was some strange behavior when it came to pathfinding. Instead of walking to one point, the squad members would continue to walk around in circles, as if they were looking for someone in the grass!

The squad has crash-landed behind enemy lines, in the heart of Eastern Europe. With no officers, no leaders, and no intel, they must find an unbreakable resolve if they are to survive.
But with only their training and instincts to guide them, survival becomes a difficult goal. First of all, they need to learn to work together to have any hope of coping with the challenges ahead.
