Dear Innkeepers!
Today is the final day of the Crossroads Inn Beta! Official testing and feedback gathering phase will be closed tomorrow at 8:00 UCT.
You've all been incredibly generous with the feedback and reports you have shared with us. Thanks to your notes and opinions we were able to heavily improve Crossroads Inn. We will continuously relay on your feedback during last two weeks of development remaining to premiere which is now set on
October 23rd
aaaand you may of course expect our team to work even harder after the release!
We would like to thank you for all the support you've shown us both at the very beginning of our adventure and later in development. Thanks to you, your advices and suggestions, we've managed to develop and improve Crossroads Inn. What is important (some of you asked about that), we have not always included you feedback into beta build many of your notes were already put into a separate premiere build we were working on in the same time. So dont be upset if some of improvements you requested werent visible in beta build it will be included in final game, its a promise!
Thanks to your cooperation on Discord/Steam we've created a game that hopefully will make you happy and will provide you with countless hours of fun and challenging gameplay. We promise to drink one or two beers to your health after the release... well, maybe rather after few first patches;).
We will also announce a special infographic soon, informing you about the plans for free DLC content coming after the premiere as well as bigger additions we plan to add to the game in upcoming months.
Heres a list of changes/additions we have made in final build that was requested by you or happened development-wise during Beta:
Campaign/story:
1.Additional storyline branches added, Campaign mode is now divided in 4 chapters (one of them being a prologue);
2.New tutorial added (before Act I);
3.New NPCs (including the plot-related ones) added;
4.Innkeeper's Journal redesigned; players will find tips, information about the world and characters, as well as statistics showing the progress and development of the inn;
Graphics/Mechanics/UI:
1.More efficient improved lightning system;
2.UI heavily redisigned, making it more user-friendly;
3.Hundreds of bugs and crashes fixed;);
4.Several dozens of new visual assets included:
