ATTENTION! The 1.5 patch for Arkhangel: The House of the Seven Stars is available now! After months of work, we finally have full point & click navigation in and working as the default mode. You can still use direct input if youd like but point & click is now the recommended and default setup when you play AA. There were a *ton* of additional updates in this patch. Heres a full list of whats included: Arkhangel 1.5 Patch Notes: SPECIAL NOTE: Previous saved games are not supported. There were a number of invasive changes that will wreck havoc with old save files with unpredictable results. We recommend starting the game over from scratch. + Adding Point & Click Navigation - This is now the default and recommended method of navigation. + Input change when in Direct Input Mode that allows the player to continue walking in the direction they are facing after a camera change if input is still active. The direction will update when the user actively changes their input direction. + Interface updates that include opening the inventory on a hotspot interaction. + Added a method of fast travel that unlocks at a certain point of the game. + Run Toggle is now implemented and mapped to LEFT CTRL by default. This works in both point & click and direct input. This can also be mapped to a game controller. + Updated Menu Flow & Tutorial + Minor inventory redesign + Adjusted a ton of camera angles/transitions + Fixed random issue with Gabrielle's dialogue triggering in Haven Overworld when she wasn't around + Revamped several camera compositions and transitions. + Reconstructed & revamped many areas to better fit point & click navigation + Slight Animation adjustments to Michael + Changed default game pad button mapping to match updated UI. + Adjusted Low and Medium quality settings to eek out a little more performance. + One inventory item that you originally started with is now something that you need to find. Wed like to take this moment to thank everyone for the great feedback since the initial release of Arkhangel. This is a game that has been part of our lives for a very long time and we are immensely proud of it. We appreciate all the love and support that you have all shown. This will more than likely be the final major content release for Arkhangel but we have really enjoyed the (sometimes bumpy) journey.

WINTER NIGHT GAMES was borne from the collective imagination of two dorky brothers. A lifelong interest in video games, pen & paper role playing games, and horror stories compelled us to start our own company, where we make the kind of games we like to play and telling the stories we like to tell. WNG came out of what started as a collaborative effort to write a horror novella. While iterating and fleshing out the structure of the story, it became apparent this story would lend itself to being told within the medium of an adventure game. A larger framework was then conceived, which could support an overarching story that could be told through various gaming media, both digital and analog.
A SPECIAL NOTE FROM THE DEVELOPER:
While there isn't overt gore or on-screen violence in Arkhangel, there is subject matter and imagery that some might find disturbing. This is a mature game experience.
