Hey all, Fred Wood here. A year ago I launched kuso, the product of a little of over a year's worth of full-time work. I'm still very proud of how this game came out, and I've loved seeing the reaction from its players. kuso may not have been a financial success, but critically, it seems to be loved the way I hoped it'd be. In the last 365 days I've been busy. The initial non-reaction to the game's release left me in a pretty sour place. It took a bit for me to want to get back to work, but once I was able to kick that feeling, got back to work I did. On November 20th, there's a big update coming. Some folks might be able to guess some of what's in store, but I'd wager no one will be 100% right. We've got new levels coming, new achievements, new modes, new music, and all sorts of new features. And new secrets, but I doubt anyone will find all of them as quickly as they did with kuso's initial launch. kuso didn't make its investment back in 2018, and that was a bit of a surprise to me considering the budget was pretty meager to begin with. So this update was put together with nothing but hard work and love, and a chunk of change from my own pocket. Despite that, this substantial update will be free. Since this update is free, we're going to be adding the new music as a "Volume 2" soundtrack on Steam. This is the only way we're monetizing the update, so we hope you'll buy it, and maybe a copy of the game for a friend or two.
