





Paint Warfare (or PW for short) is an early access multiplayer paintball shooter FPS, with realistic unlockable weapons and a unique low-poly art style.
The remastered version (which has been in development since late 2018) features better combat, brand new maps and weapons.
The vast maps supporting large-scale team and FFA combat, taking inspiration from real-world military combat around the world.
While this may not look, like your everyday shooter title, Paint Warfare combines strategy, along with fun cartoony gameplay to create a unique and fun multiplayer experience.

Development
Paint Warfare major releases are released every month, with smaller patches and content additions in between. The game is currently in a very early early access stage, with more content and fixes coming soon!

0.8_b adds a huge amount of content, polish and well-needed bug fixes to the the game :D
Major Updates:
- new 'minigame modes that cycle every 45s
- giant beach balls (dunes only)
- infinite dashes
- double xp
- orange only
- spoon only
- more coming soon.. - new spoon weapon
- added a dash to the movement that can be controlled with your movement keys and recharges with each kill
- improved UI and fancy animated kill indicators

Polish + Balance:
- white hitmarkers
- fixed issues with bots getting stuck, reduced bot invincibility to 2s and added a slight delay before they explode
- the launcher now has infinite ammo again, but its fire rate has been reduced by 33%
- you can now use C, Q and Z to fall to the ground
- added more join messages and messages to the chat when a player is switching maps
- you can now knock back explosives with paintballs and other explosives
- smoothed explosive animation
- a bit of optimisation
- improved the accuracy of the chat filter and whitelisted words like cracked and sucks that were blocked as a result of a bug
- damage of explosives now drops off with how far away the source was
- bot invulnerability reduced from 3s to 2s
- improved the range or the rocket launcher
- bots now have a slight delay before exploding so that its now possible to kill them with melee weapons

Bugfix:
- you can now shoot through your feet/head
- getting killed by a bot will now properly display in the killfeed as being killed by a bot
