Hello and happy new year. Today I'm here to update you with some exciting news regarding the future of Lion Quest. The next chapter in the series, Lion Quest Infinity, will be releasing on the 5th March 2021.
I'm super excited to finally be able to share this game with you. After 4 years on non-stop development-good-times the release is finally in sight. Lion Quest Infinity brings the series into the 3rd dimension and promises to be the wildest adventure yet for Jethro the Lion and Jefferson the Fox. If you haven't already, you should definitely add it to your Steam wishlist: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1384530/Lion_Quest_Infinity Oh, and there's also the Lion Quest spin-off game which is available now and completely free. It's called Sloth Tales and should keep you occupied for about 30 minutes of that long wait until March 5th: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1435980 Meanwhile things are not completely over for the original Lion Quest just yet...! I have an experimental but sort-of awesome new feature I'm currently testing and hope to add in as a free update later on this year (following on from the release of Lion Quest Infinity). Take Jethro the Lion on a magical journey, traversing space and time to prevent the imminent collapse of the universe. Lion Quest includes the following cool features

  • A 3D world navigated in 2D – Interact with the environment in new and unexpected ways, with huge collapsing structures adding an additional dimension to navigational puzzles

  • Zen and the Art of Mind Control – Use the power of your mind to control falling objects, or stop them dead in their tracks to create pathways and access new areas

  • New friends to discover – Solve puzzles and make friends as you meet other animals, controlling several at a time to progress through levels

  • Nine animals to play as – Unlock new characters by completing goals or spending coins (collected in-game) at the Lion Quest gift shop. Each character has its own stats and special abilities, which can dramatically change the way the game is played

  • Play with or against friends in local multiplayer – Take on the Lion Quest adventure with a friend in 2 player co-op, or play competitively with up to four players across fifteen maps in Lion Quest VS.

  • Pure platforming – Enjoy exploring with precise controls, plenty of challenge, and handcrafted levels with branching paths

  • Lion Quest Arcade – Play through 50 arcade stages that combine all-new levels with remixed content from the main game

  • Zen sounds – Enjoy an ambient soundtrack designed to increase concentration and relaxation
